You don't hear much about guns in my country, the Netherlands. Just some killings in the criminal world, but no one really gives a crap. "Let them kill eachother" is what everyone thinks.
When a well-known politician got shot 4 years ago, the discussion about guns came up again, but after a year or so everyone moved on.
Guns just create an illusion of safety, but it just creates a more aggressive, dangerous situation.
