- Iced Earth - Night of the Stormrider (old Japanese pressing)
- SYL - Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing (remastered)
- Hellspirit - Dawn Under Curse

And my latest purchase, something completely different. It must have been over a decade since I last bought anything MTG-related. I'd had in my mind for a while to finally buy some card pocket sleeves and put my humble collection in a binder, and finally got around and bought some. And for a splash of nostalgia, I invested 10€ in an Apocalypse booster pack. Gotta love that new card smell! :D

The store also got boosters from a bunch of even older expansions which I liked more than Apocalypse back in the day, but those were ridiculously priced (e.g. 30 euros for Urza's Destiny boosters and over a hundred for some really ones) so I settled on Apocalypse.
Talking of MTG, I've never quite liked the modern (i.e. post-early-2000s) art style, nor the new card frames introduced in 8th Edition (or so I've read). Too slick and CGI-like for my tastes. While browsing around every now and then to see what's going on, there's the an occasional really cool illustration, but as a whole, it's a shame how much that digital art has to look digital nowadays. Oh,guess just an old fart then...
