I watched Visitor Q... That was like an exploitation film that was exploiting exploitation films. It was fucked.

I guess Eli Roth is a big fan of Ichi The Killer, Battle Royale, and Audition, so seeing that I loved the first two in that lot I best check out the third. I'm sure I'll dig

Finally got around to seeing No Country For Old Men.

Good movie, not as good as everyone made it out to be in my opinion. Some people made it out to be the best movie they've ever seen, but again I do think it is a very good movie either way.

Fucks with your head though...definitely does that, makes you think.

Indiana Jones... hmmm.....

Lost the Indy magic. Not comfortable with calling it "too cheesey", but some parts do definitely require suspending a lot of belief even for fans of the series.

Call it the new Temple of Doom - inferior, but definitely not unwatchable.

We saw this at the weekend and I agree with you there. I think it is probably more a case of a 'been there, done that' feeling for those of us who saw the early ones first time round. It definitely isn't a bad movie by any means, we found it pretty enjoyable and there were many suitably tense and/or creepy moments.

Worth a watch.

The fridge part and the Shia LaBeouf meets Tarzan bit were both kinda cringe-worthy, and it got too Spielbergy at the end for me, but apart from that it was a solid flick.

Thoroughly agreed, although it did provide me with one of my all-time favourite threats:

"If I EVER catch you in my casino again, I will break your cheekbone with a tiny hammer. And then kill you."

WHY TINY HAMMER?! Honestly.
