I heard the leak of the new Fall of Troy today. Big disappointment... I was hoping Thomas's vocals would have improved, but if anything they got worse.

Indeed. The new one is the best thing they've done by far.

Eh, musically I think it's cool that they're pushing themselves into heavier territories (Sledgehammer = ) in some songs and more ballady in others... but the vocals... ugh. They sound totally flat, emotionless and detached from the music, and when Thomas tries to hit high notes he just sounds silly (Quarter Past = ).

Augury is recording in August, so maybe their new one will be this year? Malignancy's new cd is coming out in August! Maybe Decrepit Birth?
