Fighting games are my thing. Nothing better in the gaming industry than the fierce competition and boiling bad blood that motivates the fighting gamers.

It has replay value if your achivement whore. xD Or if you feel like doing some things different. For instance, my brother ended being warred on by the ghouls, while I was trading with them and they were helping me out in fire fights and all sorts.

Oh goodness, I despise the idea of achievements, so maybe that's another reason why I don't find much replay value in it. I went through the game being a complete bad ass/A-hole - After completing the side quests and what-not, I killed pretty much every NPC in the game (all of the ones that COULD die)just to see if any of the towns or cities posed a valid threat. They didn't. :| Jericho, Dogmeat, and Myself owned the map.

I watched much of my roommates playthrough as more of the 'neutral' type and based on that I convinced myself that there wasn't enough substance in the story to warrant playing through again.

EDIT: I didn't realize they censored A-hole on these boards. "Very nice guy"

I don't think it's actually the achievements that bother me, but rather the fact that several modern gamers have a severe tendency to overlook game quality to score a few more achievement points.

Umm... What exactly do you do with the achievement points? Could anyone tell me what's the deal with the Xbox360's gamescore? Just to show off? :?

Just to show you've spent enough time with the game to know as much as the developers really. I mean, I love Achievements because it gives you something to do while playing the game. Seeing something like "Defeat Boss X in X amount of time" is something fun for me. It gives you another challenge and more replayability in my opinion.

Didn't they use to have the bonusmaps/characters/weapons/items as a bait for that before?

Edit: Well what do you know, the gaming industry IS improving: Yoda is available from the very beginning of new Soul Calibur. :D

The points themselves are basically just for enlarging your XPenis. They serve no purpose, they aren't redeemable for anything.

When I first started playing with my 360 I thought that Gamer Points equalled MS Points. That was a tragic letdown...

As for Fallout 3, currently playing through it like a morally just person. With a really really big gun. :D

yeppers, it's really awesome! I must admit I get lost easily in that game but I wasn't any better back when I was a kid either, heh. It was a good idea to dust off my ole SNES months ago :D

Super Metroid is one of the best sci-fi game, ever.

I played it on Amiga and then on Super Nintendo. Both versions were awesome and the storytelling was cosmic.
