^If she likes your hair so much, and you want to shave it off... I suggest you do that, and give it to her. :D That way you both win!

I like it! Then she can construct a wig for me, ala Ziltoid. I think I'll suggest this.

I was just visiting my grandmother, and she was showing me these pictures from when I was a baby, toddler and such.

I was such an adorable little kid. Then I look in the mirror... what the fuck happen to that little kid? I look like Shawn Lane after he got fat. I mean, Jesus. I know I'm only 18 but I'm already wayyy down hill. Kinda bummed me out a bit.

It's never too late bro. I'm not exactly the skinniest dude either, but I dropped 30 pounds since I was 18. I had actually dropped more, but... I like beer.

Wait till you hit 30...
I'm about 35 pounds heavier than I was when I was 18, and back then I was working out 4 times a week.

Same thing for me pretty much. I was at a nice cruising weight for years until I entered college, then I outdid the freshman fifteen by making it an even 20. Lost about 10 lbs after leaving the dorms (thank god), then the following summer I did this insane diet and lost another 25 lbs in a month. Won't go into the details on that but hey :D now I do p90x and eat pretty healthy to maintain where I am. It's not always easy but if you really commit it can happen. And for me it boils down to happiness; if your happy where you are stay there, if not change it. I wasn't so I did. I'm still not skinny but I'm in shape and I'd much rather have that. Think beer for me as well prevents the skinny :D

Yeah. The big issue with me is I can't lose over 40 pounds. I always get that far and decide I love food too much. Then I gain it back and decide I wanna lose weight. If you can't tell I'm about to start trying to lose weight again. haha I just need something to keep me going after that initial 40.

I lost over 40lbs since Jan! I still eat food...I just don't eat so damn much :P I also bought Wii Fit and go to aerobics. If you have someone else marking your progess you tend to stick to it too.

I lost 15-20 kilos on eating FAT! LAWL! : D
I'm a lazy fuck, so I don't expect to lose much more in a while. Gotta let the good ol'body settle for a bit.
A consequence of all of this is that I should now be renamed to FLAPPY... and I am sure these arms can be used as wings now. I find it hilarious.

Also... mum's friend is preaching to me on facebook. I AM HAVING FUN!

The key is seriously exercise. If you work out enough it can counterbalance most stuff. The other part of that is, like Lettuce said, smaller portions. If you're working out, eating somewhat healthy/smaller portions you'll keep it off. Take me. I aerobically work out around 3-4 hours a week, and do muscle stuff 2-3 hours a week. I eat things that are really good but healthier alternatives. Like turkey bacon/burgers, egg whites, little red meat, lots of fruit and vegetables. That way when I want to indulge I totally can. Like this past weekend I had deep fried peanut butter cups at the state fair and didn't worry about it because I had worked out earlier that day. Really, it's everything in moderation.

I just went out and bought some healthier food and I guess I'm gonna go exercise. In all honestly the whole eating super shitty and a lot of it has gotten old lately. I've been feeling like a bag of dicks, so if anything this will just overall make me feel better!

i used to weigh 210-220 pounds, back in 2005-6, i lost LOTS (bear in mind im only 175cms tall!), and i can tell you first hand that the most important thing, besides exercise (which is like superimportant omg) is WILL POWER, you can cut back on fats and carbos all you want, but if you do not possess the will power to tell yourself "fuck this, im gonna lose some fucking weight" you will never succeed.

smaller meals, 5-6 times a day, liquids, and everything in moderation, even if you eat a tonne of veggies, all the excess will be converted to sugars and stored as fat. i know lots of people with weight problems and 100% of them blame it on genetics, glands and metabolism, sure metabolism plays a big role too, but you can control it. it's all within u man.

i sound like some cheesy motivational speaker, but its true, you can make it happen :D

Dude, I can tell you now it's in no way genetics. I just do the fat thing where I make every meal into an eating contest. haha That's getting pretty tiresome. Not to mention hell on my body. So I'm just gonna put the shovel down for a change and do something other than sit around all day in nothing but gym shorts. (It's so Ironic that I'm this lazy and wear nothing but gym shorts) I know changing these things works, it has before. This time I gotta stick with it!
