Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Can't decide whether to spend £40 on a club membership (Tottenham) in the hope that I can make it to at least one game next season.

It's virtually impossible to get hold of tickets without being a member (being a member gives you slight ticket priority).

Hmmm...

Anybody else here watch the Haye - Klitschko fight? I was sooooo disappointed. It was such a fucking boring fight. Haye was absolutely shocking... Broken toe or not affecting his right hand, he just did absolutely none of the things he promised to do in that fight. Heavyweight boxing really just isn't gonna be interesting again until Wlad and Vitali fight, and that ain't ever gonna happen. Blah.

Yeah I just watched it. I don't really follow boxing that much, but I enjoy watching the odd "big" fight. I too however was rather disappointed.

Did you catch UFC 132 on the same night? That show was fucking BOSS. Unbelievable stuff and I doubt it'll be topped all year. Pretty much every fight on that card was fucking brilliant...

Yeah, watched that the night before. (Downloaded of course...)

It was brilliant, although I thought the Siver/Wiman result should've gone the other way. My jaw was still slightly dropped after the Kongo/Barry fight... and then along comes Leben. A bit gutted about Faber, I love that dude (much more than Cruz anyhow).

Melvin... Condit... Tito... great fights. I always find myself wanting the guys like Tito winning, especially when it could be their last fight. Even if there are younger, better fighters out there, I'm always sad to see "the big guys" call it quits/get fired, even if they are arses like Tito. Some of these new guys just don't seem like they'll gain that exciting "celebrity" feel to them like Rampage/Chuck/Tito etc.

Meh, I get suckered in easily to big flashing lights...

Free agency frenzy is ok, but it does not satisfy my hockey needs either.
Really wish the Habs go for another top 9 forward with size.

I heard somewhere that baseballs regular season is over 160 games long or something as insane. And I thought hockey 82 was ridiculous. Oh well one week until Ducks start kicking ass.

Yep. It makes sense though when you factor in all of the variables of a season, and the fact that most teams have 5 starting pitchers, and that it's such a freak sport on a day to day basis, that even the worst team can have a 10 game winning streak. They also play nearly every day.

Not the most physically demanding of sports! Pitching and catching being the exceptions, especially pitching.

Always thought it would be a crazy life being a major league star. Constantly traveling, living outta suitcases, and despite that still getting recognised all the time.

Still, I guess I'd console myself by looking at my bank balance and remembering that I'd never have to work again unless I felt like it.

Baseball is honestly the only sport I care to watch, and even then I don't really follow until the post season. There is a ton of games but I think that's really cool because basically if your in most major US cities and want to catch a game you're pretty well assured to catch a game as opposed to other sports like football (US football).

I'm tellin ya Octillus... Dbacks are gonna rally.

Gonna hate it if tomorrow I gotta put my foot in my mouth on that one...

Listen, the Dbacks are a great young team, and they're going to be a pain in our ass for the next few years, but they are simply not built for the post season this year. If Ian Kennedy didn't grab you a win, you were toast.
