Wolverine It was nice to see how it all started, but i guess this is going to take another viewing before it really opens. Still, not bad.

Watched that leaked version of Wolverine with the special effects not fully added. Provided lots of laughs! I found it pretty boring altogether. Nothing special, really. Sabretooth was badass and Ryan Reynolds was great as Deadpool for the five minutes he was in it. I just hate how Wolverine gets this treatment. There's so many other X-men I'd rather see in one of these Origin type things..

Just watched There Will Be Blood.
I really enjoyed it. Daniel Day Lewis is an awesome actor, he seems to totally become the character. Reminded me of his part in Gangs of New York, another favourite film of mine.
The story kept me interested and some of the camera work/locations were amazing. Its a long film (over 2.5 hours) but it doesn't drag.
I'd recommend giving it a watch.

Do you think there will be more movies to come?

Great assessment of the movie - it was pretty intense from start to finish. Daniel Day Lewis was extremely creepy, in a way that I've never seen in movies before. Excellent movie.

Aw, no doubt.
Saw the Fly when I was a kid and have been addicted since.
I'm not as fond of Videodrome as I am The Brood. It was so quiet, felt real and the colors were great. But the soundtrack was still prime. Like when Nola lifts her dress. There was this huge swell. What a peak! Great.

Man videodrome was so visceral. More in color than in content. couldn't take it.

The Brood is a perfect example of a PSYCHOLOGICAL horror (So is Jacob's Ladder). You're terrified through out the whole thing, but you never know why. Even after the movies done.

Agreed, but that made it all the better for me. It was never a MOVIE movie, so much as a strange horror film to be watched in a dirty basement on a Saturday night. The whole low budget feel. The whole movie is incredible philosophy wise, though. I just like that whole line in the movie about how they used a snuff film to implant the Videodrome signal because shock opens up the receptors more. I think about that every time I read a Heinlein novel or when I first saw the Budd Dwyer suicide video. It pierced to the core because it forced me to be so neutral to the world, you know? Like I was shocked out of personal opinion. Like if you see someone die in a movie as opposed to right in front of you.

Sorry, I'm ranting.

Well, i would be surprised if there would not be another X-men related movie on the way, characters are plenty in this one so maybe not about Wolverine but someone else. Keep 'em coming, that's my opinion :D

Oh, this is from IMDB.com:

Deadpool Spin-Off Confirmed
6 May 2009 11:00 AM, PDT | From WorstPreviews.com | See recent Worst Previews news

In addition to the announcement that a "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" sequel is in the works, 20th Century Fox has just revealed that a spin-off movie, focusing on Deadpool , is in development as well. Ryan Reynolds is attached to reprise the character. Deadpool is Wade Wilson, a mercenary who, dying of cancer, submits himself to the Weapon X genetic alteration experiment and emerges as an indestructible semi-sane anti-hero. Reynolds seemed destined to play the character. In one reference in the Marvel Comics, Deadpool is described as a mix between "a Shar Pei and Ryan Reynolds." In the new movie, it is understood that "the merc with a mouth" would once again regain the ability to mouth off, with the movie going back to the roots of the character known for his slapstick tone. The project is out to writers. Fox considered a "Deadpool" spin-off early in "Wolverine's" development process, which is why it cast Reynolds.

YUS.

Ryan Reynolds was fucking awesome in that film! And loads of other things too. Hooray for his own movie! Now once they give Cyclops and Nightcrawler their own movies I'll be happy. :P

Excellent, I was waiting for this news. Otherwise, why cast Reynolds in the first place and market the trailers as though he had a decent amount of screen time in the flick? 8)

Ooh! I had no idea - I can't wait for that. I certainly hope there are more movies to come :D
I'd be very excited about a Cyclops or Nightcrawler movie - how about the Beast?

And let's not forget Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, not X-men but one of my favorites still. Hope they don't fuck up that avengers film...
