Spirit well... Eva Mendez and that's it. Also Transporter 3 clearly weakest of series, and it looked like even Statham was bit bored too.

She's so beautiful.

Also got the chance to meet her. She's a real sweetheart. Great with children as well.

Lucky you, i'm jealous... Anyways, Day of the Dead ( Mena Suvari, Nick Cannon, Ving Rhames), somekind of remake but I strongly suggest that if somebody want's to see this, go with the original Romero piece. This was just too different compared to original, schaisse actually....

Creepshow 3 too, shitshitshit... what a waste of time...

Control.
The biopic of Ian Curtis the Joy Division frontman.
Wow. Amazing performance from Sam Riley who played him and Samantha Morton who played his wife.
The film was so well shot. All in black and white which helped portray the desperation he felt. Not a happy film but amazing none the less.
Never realised he was only 23 when he committed suicide. Tragic.

Yeah, saw that a few months back. Very dark but extremely well done.

Interesting that their biggest hit, 'Love Will Tear us Apart' actually came after he died!

Angels & Demons

Great successor to The Davinci Code. Tom Hanks is really in his role and convinces immediately.
Ewan McGregor is starring, too and you really see what the Illuminati are about.
The movie shows a lot about the Vatican and the pope, how everything's organized.

I would rate it a 10/10

Can't wait for The Lost Symbol :)

Out of curiosity, how did you rate The Da Vinci Code movie?

Well Angels & Demons was a faaaaaaar better and more enjoyable read than the Da Vinci Code was, so it should hopefully make a better film.

Watched Transporter 3 the other day, which was just as good and ridiculous fun as all the other movies in that series. I always like films Jason Statham is in, even if they seem to just be a load of useless tripe on paper. Think I'll watch Snatch in a while...

Drag Me To Hell

me:
"this movie is a must see. must, must, must"

fool:
yeah why???? looks pretty lame. its a movie ill wait for on dvd.

me:
ok ok yes i know it looks lame...hear me out

first off, if you know the background of the movie and the people involved, its meant to be a modern old-timey horror flick...but its also meant to have a comedic, self-mocking element to it. that said, i didn't know that going in (i hadn't heard of the movie until i was invited to an employee screening) and when i was watching all i could think of for the first half was 'wow this is lame' and 'ok, that was corny.' but then i overheard people talking about the comedic stuff, etc. and when they laughed at a few parts it all clicked with me. it was enjoyable knowing they weren't trying too hard with the movie, it reminds me of 50s horror flicks and for that reason this movie hit me as a piece of art.

so by the time i left i was like 'that was the best [PG13] horror movie i've ever seen'

best, best, best. FUCKING awesome. great ending. the previews DO NOT do it justice. i will be dragging all manner of family/friends to this movie. SEE IT IN THE THEATER!!!

modern classic horror, ftw

watched The curious case of Benjamin Button

liked it very much. It was very well done. Although I must admit that the scenes where the 80 year old looking 8 year old Benjamin totally has a crush on 8 year old Daisy are pretty odd, even if he's actually a young guy  But it is a very good movie actually.
