Ah nerdguy, i have no qualms with you! I dont mind a political argument as long as it doesnt degenerate to typical name calling.

Mig, even if she did become president by McCain dying or being put into the hospital because of health issues, I really dont think she would do anything different than what we have right now. I really dont think she would go ahead with these bullshit bailouts we've been having and I dont think she would damage anything. I'm pretty sure having Nancy Pelosi up her ass the whole time would pretty much keep her in check.

Personally, on the whole issue of party affiliation, I like to think of myself as a "centrist". I'm for a lot of left wing views and right wing views. I'm also against views from both sides, but I tend to disagree with some left wing views more. Hell most of the time I consider not even voting in this election...

And what America has right now is a president who started a war for no valid reason, with no evidence, against a country that was proven to not be doing anything exceptionally wrong at the time. In the process getting thousands of people killed and wasting billions of dollars that could have been spent on making America better instead of making another country worse.

I for one do not one to see another Fundamental Christian Gun-nut president that will try and drag my country into another unnecessary war that it has nothing to do with.

There I've had my say. Now I'm going back to haunt the updates thread in the DT forum

...and let's not forget about how the US is giving $10 billion a month to Iraq, even though they currently have a $79 billion surplus. I can think of much better ways to handle $10 billion...mainly involving improvements to our own problems. We somehow ended up there and we're in pretty deep now, thanks to W and his cronies, but we should pull back and get our own country back on track.

You obviously took what I said far out of context, I meant she wouldnt do WORSE than what we have right now.

As for the whole belief deal, I couldnt care less what a presidents religious standpoint is. Gun nut, you mean someone who believes in the second amendment of our Constitution, the thing this country was built on? Yea, I personally am all for following the Constitution, that includes the second amendment. I think that if we did stick to the Constitution more (ahem, freedom of speech anyone? yes, no?) our country would be better off.
