I appreciate your frustration.

Allow me to explain:

I recently took over the site, and the first priority was getting a new site up, as well as a content management system to run everything in time for the release of KI. This was a big undertaking.

At the end of last week, there was a major outage with our hosting provider which took the forums down (and the main site).

When we finally came back up, we tried a simple software upgrade to the forum, and this failed.

Unfortunately the current message boards are a big mess as far as the back-end is concerned.

Having only recently come on board, there is considerable back-tracking to be done to figure out how things are set up and what is where. We're having considerable trouble figuring out why a few things are the way they are with the forums, and find some things set up in ways we're unable to explain. Perhaps they seemed like a good idea at the time...

In any case, we'll be installing a new message board and then importing the old forums across. This will mean a bit of down time, and we encourage you to download or make copies of everything that's important to you - such as private messages. While we don't anticipate any data loss, these things sometimes happen when importing data.

We'll advise you all ahead of time when this is going to happen - maybe a week or se away. Stay tuned.

In the meantime please bear with us. We're working to make this a better place for you, so try be be understanding and keep the abuse to a minimum..

Oh dear. D: What from?

He was taken ill after a gig and died in hospital I didn't know him but I know I lot of people who did, apparently he was a very sweet guy.

Getting up this goddamn early for school. Next semester I will make sure to register earlier so I can get a later Music Lit. class...UGH.
