Yeah, two of the Autobots, Skids and Mudflap, have got a lot of heat from people... There are certain moments when they do kind of fall into almost stereotypical black character roles. It isn't subtle at all, really, but it is being blown up a lot. Massive pun intended.



Watched Franklyn and Ratatouille last night. Franklyn was thoroughly enjoyable, very visually impressive, with a great soundtrack and a good ending that wrapped everything up well. Felt a bit incoherent and convoluted in certain parts, but I still thought it was a very good effort. Ratatouille was surprisingly enjoyable! We just got it cos you get a free kids DVD free when you rent two movies, and I think we were both surprised at the quality of the movie.

I heard up was good if you only see it once, but apparently the short at the beginning of it is the best Pixar short yet.

Slumdog Millionaire Surprisingly good this one, I usually try to steer clear from these multiple oscar winner movies. Then Push kind of X-men/Heroes type of action, promising but lacks something. Bubba Ho-Tep hilarious moments, must for all Bruce Campbell fans And finally Burn After Reading not too bad either.

Saw Drag me to hell. Raimi's the man! Camera work, sound, splatter/humour in a twisted mix...It was all good.

I would highly highly recommend it if you want an hour and a half of cheap laughs and offensive brilliance. It's definitely one of those movies to see in a cinema, because the audience reaction is priceless to hear as well. Big thumbs up!

But don't some theaters over there still show the original version? Atleast when I visited Berlin, it wasn't a problem.

Watched The Bucket List last night. I really liked it. It fit perfectly with my current emotional state (lol), that I may have brought up previously with my mentions of "Into the Wild" / "Christopher McCandless".

Saw Bruno the other week, couple-a-days after its release. I second all that Leech has said. Definately a Cinema film.

Though to be honest, I'm not sure if I prefer Borat or not. Spose they're as good as each other...
