Yep. There's a bank ad on TV here with a jingle that clearly rips off Willy Wonka.

Reading Sean Connery's autobiography Being a Scot. One of those cumbersome wide hardcovers, but that's okay as it is page after page of awesome.

Paul Walker died in a car accident. How sad that it won't be long before people start making Fast and Furious jokes.

Must admit that I've never seen one of his films from start to finish.

I thought the same thing when I heard... here come the memes.

Okay, album covers with chest *ahem*. (the "G-word" got labeled as spam? ) What's with band using it over and over again? Anyone know if there's more albums with that same thing on the cover?

There are two local gigs on this Saturday, a thrash gig and a doom gig, both of which I want to go to as they both feature bands I really like. However, they're in different parts of the city and are on at the exact same time. I'm truly torn about who I should attend.

Interview at Pizza Hut today. My friend says I definitely have the job as long as I don't do terrible in the interview, which I'm confident for once that I won't.

Read an article by Alan Wolfe today, couldn't help noticing he dropped one of my top English language pet peeves: "could have cared less." Guess it can happen to everyone... :D

I still don't get it how people use it so often without the negative, it changes the whole meaning of the phrase!

It's sad to think that Creedence Clearwater Revival have been complicit in allowing their music to be butchered for insipid TV commercials.
