Ya know, some information for you young 'uns. Back in the day when we were little kids, we had a thing... All shiny and round, it was called a "CeeDee". The music was on the CD! You'd put them in a magic box we called a "CD Player" and it would play the music! No need for a computer or an ipod or nothing!! Good thing I collected a whole bunch of those and kept them so now I still have all my music in case of a harddrive failure.

Well not all of it but the most important bits.

He offered to give you some of the music you'd lost because you mentioned that it was un-awesome. I'm sure he's got plenty of CDs and is just being considerate. Plus it saves you the hassle of having to put everything on your computer again. There's no need to be a condescending wank about it.
