Why don't you put on a skirt while you're playing your girly Sims game? Homo.

:D

I'm wearing a skirt right now. In public! Oops.

Now, the fact that Biert looks better in a skirt than I do is much more insulting. To me, at least.

No, I only said I wouldn't tell everyone about your matching pink bra and sparkly panties. So, you're safe! :D

P.S. I need to borrow them this Saturday night.

From UK I would've got it 70% cheaper, but I didn't
have any clue how to buy from abroad.

Sigh!

I do sell games from time to time ;) But my distributor has been out of Okami copies for quite a while and doesn't get any new ones in

PS3

Heavenly Sword: Very beautiful game, the sound is ridiculous. But, I have beat 'em ups. Thinking about selling it.

Resistance: Fall of Man. An FPS that looks okay, and isn't really pulling me in. I'm going to sell that one, too.

Tiger Woods 2008: Yee-HAW! This game had me at "hello".

PSP:

Crush: Oooooh, me likey this awesome little puzzle game. Oh yeah.

Daxter: A smart ass critter in a platformer? I like it!

DS:

Burnout Legends: I like it, but nearly as much as Burnout 3 on the Xbox.

Tiger Woods 2008: Teh win.

I think that that is a common problem with many new games. They can look and sound amazing but don't pull you in somehow. Back in the days, when it was harder to have good graphics due to the restrictive hardware, good-looking games were very often also good games since talented developers worked on them. Now it's harder to tell I think just by judging graphics.

Rise of the Robots has a lot to answer for, doesn't it?

I absolutely love games and probably always will, but I just don't care about graphics anymore. I now play games that have the gameplay balance just right, regardless of their age or looks. I guess that in the long term, as hardware gets more and more powerful, looks will matter less and playability (and REplayability) will matter more to the general buying public. And as a consequence graphics will have to have some form of artistic or stylistic point of difference to stand out.

Here's hoping!

A friend of mine bought an Xbox 360 (and got a Red Ring Of Death within 30 seconds), maybe he wants to sell his old Xbox to me for cheap :D

Oh god dude that happened to me when i first popped in Halo 3, just before i started actually playing. Luckily it was the power supply and not the system, havent had any problems after all the hours i've already thrown away in Halo 3.

Hehe, wow that was like...ages ago. :D I remember some RotR review where the tester turned off the screen and kept punching the same button for half an hour. When he turned the screen on he had finished the game.

Okami is the best game I have played in a while, any game where one plays a sun goddess is awesome. Final Fantasy Tactics I would say is the best game of all time though.

For me personally, graphics weren't keeping me from getting inside a story from the Dreamcast on. From then on, games could be cinematic enough for me. So everything that gets upgraded now is a bonus but not necessary for me to like a game.

What bothers me is that some games now have very realistic looking models, but the animation sucks. I think Oblivion had very advanced graphics but the way they walked was too unrealistic which quickly takes away some of that realistic feeling. The people who make Zelda once talked about this. That their cartoon-like game felt more alive due to the animation than a "realistic" looking game where they walk like robots.

Haha, nice. It's a good example of how gameplay is still a bit more important than graphics. Many new games mainly rely on graphics I think. An old game with 16-bit graphics but good gameplay is still more enjoyable than one from the same period that's beter looking but plays like crap.
Not to say that I do like nice graphics of course but it should complement the whole thing.
