Looks like a good thing - if mesmerizing the audience with flashy CGI won't work they'll be forced to use good stories again.

Just saw Sherlock Holmes, and I thought that twas fantastic! Hugely fun, thoroughly enjoyable and another big thumbs up for Mr. Ritchie! Downey Jr., it must also be said, is fucking excellent, and Jude Law turned in a stellar performance to boot. Also kudos must go to Mr. Zimmer for another predictably brilliant soundtrack...

Oh, and I also got to see the Iron Man 2 trailer in full gloriousness before the film began, and, at the risk of repeating myself...

WAR MAAAAAAAAAACHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE

*ahem*

But yes, Sherlock Holmes highly recommended by me. And a definite sequel as well, methinks!

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army second viewing this one, and it seemed better than seeing it first time around. Still, not as good as first, so let's hope that part three is going to rock (if there is going to be part 3 that is). It actually came quite surprise to me that this movies villain Luke Goss is former member of boyband Bros, he was such a bad ass in Blade 2 that it's pretty hard imagine him in stage doing those cheesy dance moves and whatever. But it's not a bad career move to step away from boyband and become a villain in movies, and do that in a way it's believeable

It may not mean a great deal to some people, but just a piece of news. Avatar is already the 2nd highest grossing movie OF ALL TIME, after only 3 weeks of release. Astounding. It will probably knock Titanic off it's perch, and Cameron already has the top 2 to himself!

It's really pretty to look at and it has big, blue, slightly cat-like people in it. :D

Avatar in 3D.

Loved the sights and sounds...plot and story was kinda lame. The references to political / current events were over the top.
"Fight terror with terror." C'mon man. I wanted to beat the shit out of that stupid marine colonel. I was hoping that he would get a knife shoved through his jaw so that he would shut up, and then slowly bleed to death while inside that fighting robot. Oh well, at least he died. I think Cameron's really stirring the pot though. The movie will just make the world hate Americans even more.
Anyway, I do not want to start a debate.

The movie is an overwhelming visual and aural feast. One needs to see it for that reason alone.

It reminded me of the Matrix, but the story and plot, etc. of The Matrix is way better (At lest the first Matrix movie). I would LOVE to see The Matrix in 3D.

I'm a Mac-fag, ya Dutch git.

Anyway, "Run, Lola, Run" is an awesome movie. And Franke Potente is ...well. She's got a gorgeous face and really made that movie.
