Which I loved, because I'm a greedy foodie and 'Mastering the Art of French Cooking has been a favourite of mine for 20-odd years.

I watched Julie and Julia last night also, and thought it was a lot of fun. Two of the best actors ever in Streep andTucci having what looked like an absolute ball. If you love French food and movies, this is worth seeing.

Dragonball Evolution

This makes Transformers 2 seem worthy of Oscars... Damn!

Alice in Wonderland 3D. I liked it, nice little details here and there and 3D was nicely done to compliment the movie. Nice characters too, story was familiar to me although never read the book. 4/5 rating

Paranormal Activity Surprisingly good despite all bad things written about it (well, mostly forums so...). Nice little things to spook you, no that in-your-face type of thing that most horror flicks today are. Male character was little bit unbelieveable, normal person would have been scared senseless from all what's happening in the house and left asap. There is also alternate ending in dvd, slightly more disturbing than what we see in movie. 3,5/5 rating.

Black Dynamite...hell yeah. Totally fresh, hilarious, and over-the-top without getting buried in too much shtick. Full of quotable lines and memorable personalities, to boot.

I also borrowed the anime of Dante's Inferno from a friend, just because I could. It was solid and average, pretty much just like its game counterpart. The different animation styles were interesting, but I can't help but feel that multiple animation groups were used in order to quicken the production process, rather than provide more eye candy. Also, the changes in animation styles can be confusing, due to scenes changing and portraying the same character with two totally different appearances (short-brown-haired guy with goatee becomes long-blonde-haired guy with mustache?).

I give Paranormal Activity additional 0.5 points because it gave me nice nightmares, always a good sign for a horror movie :D

I saw Airplane yesterday.
Ok, I've seen the movie at least a dozen times, but what the hell, it's awesome. The scene where the little girl states that she takes her coffee black, like her men, still makes me laugh my ass off.

:D

Saw This Is England recently as well. Definitely one that gets under your skin, and is real enough that you can truly relate with the characters - I love it when movies are reminiscent of people you (may) know. Plus it's a great reminder of what a bitch Thatcher was.

haha, yeah! :D
I had that same.
Every time I closed my eyes, I just saw the night cam from their bedroom, with the clock ticking on the "screen" :D
So more points from that from me, too.

I understand that there is sequel on the way. Don't really understand why, except to make some more cash perhaps... But story is already told, so not exactly waiting for that one.

But, saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, again. Wonder if Voldemort has breathing problems...
