Clash of the Titans If you are going to see this, see it in 2D 'cause 3D is absolutely useless and feels like afterthought. Otherwise some good characters, like Mads Mikkelsen as Draco and Sam Worthington isn't too bad eiher. Hmmm...there was some young girls in the audience and they seem to find it hilarious that main characters name is Perseus, as perse = ass in finnish. Finnish are suckers for words like ass and shit, always quaranteed laughs if someone say those words for example in theatre plays... I'm a shamed...

If the 3D seemed like an afterthought, thats because it was! From reading afterwards it seems that they applied the 3D after they had already finished the film, as a cash in. It didnt add anything to it at all and just made the fight scenes difficult to follow.

Bit annoyed I paid double the price for this.

How to train your Dragon.

Really very good! I might question why the Vikings are all Scottish but have American children, however we'll let that slide since it was all very well done. Voiced by Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson and David Tennant in the adult Viking roles. The black Dragon looked like a cross between a black cat and a Pokemon, which was a strange but endearing mix.

So yes, very enjoyable family animation and well worth seeing even if you haven't got kids. :D

100% Agreed!

I just finished watching 2012. Woah!
The special effects are awesome. It's worth seeing just for that, if anything.

Kick-Ass - Wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be at all. Grand entertainment for two hours but I dunno if it deserved the insane praise it seemed to get. Maybe I had too high hopes for it...

World's Greatest Dad - Surprisingly awesome. Such an incredible up-and-down movie with some seriously fantastic humour mixed in with some awfully sad moments too. Extra LAV points cos I love Robin Williams.

Saw Kick-Ass yesterday. Not bad, the geeky-teen side of it quickly wears thin its welcome after the (hilariously) violent antics of the mob and Hit-Girl are introduced. Basically, I felt more drawn to the darker aspects of the story, but appreciated it as a send-up of comic hero films, without becoming a stupid comedy with no plot (see Superhero Movie - actually don't, you'll be better off). I'll give it a 3/5.

Legion. Looked promising, was actually pretty awful. Silly Bible-y nonsense and most of the actors were bloody atrocious.

Just watched Jacob's Ladder, featuring Tim Robbins, Dan Aiello, Jason Alexander (pre-Seinfeld), and Eriq De La Salle (or whatever his name is). This movie was more than a pleasant surprise. It's no Zoetrope, but this one is almost 2 hours of great suspense built up very well.

I kinda lol'd at the people commenting on your status, like if they got a ticket to Europe they'd go and never come back. I'm sure it will be real easy buying a ticket to Europe.
