My favorite line from that movie:
"He say plane fly overhead, drop value. I don't care. In Beirut, plane fly over, drop bomb. I like these planes."

And of course once you've heard "We're goin' to Bonnie Doon" you can't stop singing it.

Or if you're next to the person who can't stop singing it, you can't stop involuntarily kicking them in the face.

Depends how annoying they are, and how serious they want to push it. For instance, there's an idiot at my work who thinks he's god's gift to singing (my ass) who won't stop singing the Safeway fresh food people song, amongst others. Why nobody hasn't forcibly sewn his mouth shut yet amazes me.

Where was I?

Oh yeah, Jaws 4 is horrible, no matter which version you watch.

Inception. Not quite the über movie I suspected but very good.
The concept is of course ridiculously out-there but I didn´t mind.

Inception, pretty entertaining during the movie, but on after thought, I think it lacks in the emotional department to be anywhere near a masterpiece. And IMO everything happens to quickly to unfold the plot the way a bad-ass plot should unfold.
Some transitional parts were kinda rushed too (how Ellen Page's character gets the grips of the whole situation faster and better than anyone else).

Still well worth the ticket. It's nice to see an action movie that doesn't requires you to unplug your brain to appreciate it.

Spoiler :
So, was it all a dream ? I don't like that kind of idea that makes the whole movie more or less pointless, but the whole dream synchronization device looks pretty cheap to me, just the way it would be in a dream. Any movie using such a device would depict it with some intricate apparatus fixed around the head or whatever.

Considering how much exposition the movie needed they did pretty good job. The dream sequences could have been a bit more dreamy, there were some amazingly clever and imaginitive stuff but I demand more, more! MORE!!! :D

I think the audience is supposed to make up their own mind. There were some thing pointing towards "dream" but thing was just about to fall down.

Lemmy. Insightful and essential documentary for any self-respecting Motorhead fan, or any metalhead/punk/hard rocker, for that matter.
Maybe it was just me, but when scenes featuring Metallica came up, the enire theatre seemed to fill with tension. I personally didn't mind those interviews - the loud mouth down in front, however.

Anyway, highly recommended. BORN TO RAISE HELL!

Inception today. Those who detract from this movie either just don't get it, or if they do, are cleary in need of Leechmaster's AIDS juice. I tip my beanie to Nolan & co.

Theatre? Is this a new thing that I've missed? I hope we get it here.

I never got used to this whole "talkies"idea, personally. Give me a good organ at the movies any time.

Wait...

Inception - Leechy's threat about the AIDS juice is completely justified.

Earlier this week I also saw Iron Man, Fast & Furious, Kick-Ass and Planet Terror as time-wasting entertainment, for which they're all most suitable.

To be fair, for simple popcorn entertainment, the original Iron Man does some interesting things with the themes of superheroism, though quite obviously not on the level of Nolan's Batman films. It's my hope that the further Marvel films explore some of these ideas. They might not be worth companion literature examining psychological profiles of the characters (Nolan's Batman characters absolutely are), but hopefully they can maintain their status at their best as heirs to the ancient epics of yore.
