Would love to get you in on the game we have been playing, but all of my friends are too stingy and want only these people, etc. It's annoying.

no problem at all...if it pisses me off too much to play it solo due to the insanity and you are done or don't have anything else to do then maybe you can help me out with the last few missions. It's only 4 more missions anyways. I'm sure I'd find one or two skilled players on my list that would join in too. I think in that regard it kinda backfired that I got my Reach a bit late because I wanted the english version. Everyone was already in the middle of playing it on Legendary when I got mine, heh.

down to the last 2 real Halo Reach missions on Legendary. That's mission 9 and 10. All you got to do in the very last mission is get yourself killed and that should not be too hard on Legendary, heh. So I don't count "mission" 11. Mission 10 should be extremely frustrating. Not looking forward to that one!

I seriously dont think I'm going to go through with that achievement. Dont know if I have the patience.

On another note, Dead Rising 2 and the new Borderlands expansion both come out next week. Very stoked for both!

only got the last mission to do now...I'll see how far I get in that tomorrow. It already felt extremely long and tedious and annoying on normal difficulty so it may be a tough nut to crack. But I'll try anyways now that I'm this far already.
I can tell you though it's no fun...not even slightly. If you ever decide to go through that then you should know that. It's very annoying, partly pretty unfair (check points from hell) and incredibly tedious. Some portions just take ages to get through because of the number of enemies, their strength and fire power and you die A LOT. One enemy can be the one that kills you over and over again. Elites are ridiculous on solo Legendary because they jump around like crazy which makes it hard to kill them on your own and the squad mates don't help much, as you have probably realized too, heh.
No idea why I do that to myself all the time. I hope it's not masochism :P

finally finished Halo Reach on Legendary solo and will never ever do that again...ever. I'll do a few more achievements though.

I received my copy of Dead Rising 2 today. Is is Dead Rising in all its glory and with all (or most of its) flaws. The graphics are pretty good compared to DR1 (well, that ain't too hard). The developers seem to have put more effort into the story, more so than the guys who made DR1. The controls seem to be better this time. There's just a few things that were part of the first one already that annoy me personally. The fact that there's so few save points and that that is the only way that you can save a game. And the fact that you can't set waypoints freely and can only set waypoints for the missions. Today I got lost, ran into a zombie horde, realized that it was a dead end and had to get through the zombie horde again and died on the way back. Kinda sucks when you basically lose about an hour of progress because of that. But that is just me. I never liked that in games. Other than that it is fun! Combining stuff to create awesome weapons is fun!

edit: the drill bucket is already one of the best weapons ever! :D

Fable 3 comes out in the end of October.
I LOVE fable. Imo the first game is the best game ever.

the question is...which console is this supposed to work on? Not sure if the 360 can handle all that! But there won't be a new Xbox or PS for a while so they will have to make it work. And I don't think I wanna buy the necessary PC hardware to make that game work on my machine! I'm no PC gamer anyways...

Looks almost too good doesn't it. And a bit too well directed as well.

But if it's indeed genuine bit of realtime gameplay then respect, very impressive. If kinda constrained - doesn't look like something that lets you choose how to play much.

I'm pretty sure that it will be pretty linear but that's no problem for me personally. I dig linear games just as much as nonlinear games. Bioshock games are great and this one looks like it will be the best of them. Looks like a real work of art.

One of my developer friends said that they've only just cracked the 60% threshhold on the xbox, and that the only real limitation for them at this point is the storage space of dual layer dvds. The PS3 he said has a bit more upward potential but theyt have more hoops to jump through due to the PS3's innards
