Blocked sinks. Mostly I don't want to go out and buy drain cleaner (shit's getting pricey), but I must.

Stop pouring crap down your sink might be more cost effective in the long run. A sink is not a waste disposal.

Also boiling water, a plunger and a length of flexible wire (eg old wire coat hanger) with a wee hook shape on the end is pretty efficient.

And my un-awesome.. wasp sting on the thigh a couple of days ago has gone from being burny-sore to itching like blazes.

I'll have you know only water (and maybe my shedding hair) go down my sink. I'm not stupid after all.

It is rare for sinks to block with just water. Unless it is very very cold.

Like I said, shedding hair. It's resolved now.

This sad news really passed by discretely, but Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Paprika), passed away August the 24th, of a pancreatic cancer diagnosed only a few months earlier this year. He was 46. :(
A translation of his last post is available here.

I always admire folks who can accept death with such grace, may he rest in peace.

I enjoyed the hell out of Perfect Blue, btw.

Man, I'm sorry to hear it.

It's impending terror for me, I honestly give my hair a 7 year lifespan, because once it starts to fall out, it'll go fast.

I had that fear once, but I've decided fuck it, I'll grow a skullet. I'm not completely bald up top (yet), though the rest of my hair has stayed in limbo at my shoulders for the past two years. I'll only cut it again when it all falls out.

I should have been back to school today. If it weren't for the fact that I can't get to my schedule because the website is broken.
