first of all...it's not like 'someone' just said it. When you play COD and people find out you're German, it very often happens that people call you a Nazi, personally...that has happened to every single of my German friends too. Yet I wouldn't even waste a thought on getting someone banned for it. My motto on the other hand is not a personal attack, it is a general statement and as far as I'm concerned, Nazi punks should fuck off. And personally I don't think there is any sort of justification for the ban. What's their point? That no one should speak out against Nazis? I guess it's just the same type of BS as in the past...like that lesbian couple that was banned from Xbox live because one of them (or both, don't remember) mentioned her sexual preference in her profile.
i guess the safe route is to not mention any lifestyle choices, political message or any other affiliation!
If you don't grok it, drokk it!

I was referring to your complaint that nothing is ever done about people calling you a nazi on voice chat. If you don't report it, there is no way for them to know that someone has called you a nazi, since there's almost certainly no way for them to monitor voice chat. Even if you do report it, it's your word against theirs. They probably don't even ban people for complaints unless they get enough complaints within a short enough period of time. Chances are, even if you reported them, no one else did, and they probably don't come up against Germans often enough to get a ban.
So it's not that they're turning a blind eye to people calling you a nazi, it's just that in all likelyhood, they have no idea that someone has called you a nazi.
With regard to the ban, I'd imagine that it's either because of the word "fuck", even if starred out, or the word "nazi", if it happens to be one of the words they ban. They most likely have some automated system that searches for profiles with words they consider to be inappropriate, and flags them for banning. They seem to be very strict about what you can put in your profile. I tried to put "nerd" in mine, and my Xbox wouldn't let me, said it was an inappropriate word!
believe me, the Nazi calling happens very often...just believe me on that. I have several German friends on my friends list. Some of them are also real life friends. And every single one of them has had to deal with that. I think my point is that although that happens, none of us bothers to report it because it would get people banned and I'd like to be better than the people that call other people things. And I have had trouble before with Xbox live because people complained about something ridiculous in my gamertag. I guess I'm just trying to say that it doesn't really take much for one to get banned on there or for people to get you banned. A friend of mine told me at a Halloween party today that he also got banned once and he doesn't even know why. Then he called the German customer service and they couldn't tell him anything and just said that only the Xbox live security in the US would know. Oh well...guess I just needed to rant. Doesn't really matter as there ain't anything one can do about it anyways.
on a nicer note....I orderd Fable III and can't wait to play it! I'm kind of in the mood for that type of game now after months of zombie killing!

^ Pretty much bullshit dude. Leave it to Microsoft to be Nazis themselves about their policies.
On a lighter note, I am thoroughly enjoying Fallout New Vegas and have only encountered 2 freeze issues, and one clipping problem. Though I see a lot of parts of the world that aren't touching others, it's really not a big problem with the depth of the game.
Also, the new Xbox Live update is pretty much broken. Everything runs very slow, and the new voice chat upgrade makes it sound like you're on the phone in a bathroom.

that doesn't sound too good. Let's hope they get that fixed soon. I'm kind of tired of dealing with Xbox problems of any type

This is the age we live in, when speaking out against something bad gets us in trouble.

Wait, I thought that was the age our parents lived in? And our grandparents?
That's really strange about the new update. I haven't had any problems at all, in fact a lot of my stuff seems to be working a lot smoother.

It just seems sluggish.
I miss the ability to check all new game items on the market in a single area, instead of having to select one, let it load, browse, back out, and repeat the process.
I like the new actual dashboard, it's nice. The X menu seems a bit more sluggish.

I'm actually digging the new dashboard. I didn't have any issues with it so far...it does look a bit too sterile maybe, if that makes sense. Just very white and bright and a little odd. But the functionality has been fine for me so far!
I received Fable 3 today and it's loads of fun. As in the last game, the side quests are way more fun and way more awesome. I laughed quite a bit while palying it. There's just a few odd changes that were made. The little shops often just have one item that you can buy. In Fable 2 every shop had lots and lots of items. Even barber shops or furniture shops, for example, don't offer a lot in Fable 3. I don't know why they reduced that part of the Fable world that drastically. Also I so far have not found a menu where you can actually check all your items that you found, such as books, jewelry and that type of stuff. Which is odd too..how's one supposed to know what all he found? Speaking of the in-game menu...what you remember from Fable 2 is basically gone. Instead of a text menu, you now got a sanctuary to go to where you can pick your weapons, clothes, etc. The in-game map could have been a bit better too. It's a weird 3D map that doesn't appear to display the towns appropriately and it appears that there is no way for you to see where you are located on the map. All that is not too bad though...the only thing that REALLY 'bugs' me (you know where this is going) are the bugs. NPC's getting stuck and the usual probs. The worst problem though is VERY, VERY nasty slowdowns that happen rather often in this game. I don't know if there's anything that Lionhead can do about this problem or if this is just a result of too much going on in the game for the good old 360 but the slowdowns are REALLY bad. I hope there is something that can be done. But the game is tons of fun despite all that. Anyone who enjoyed Fable 2 should enjoy this one too.

NEW VEGAS IS THE FUCKING HAWTSEX
Although the glitches, though infrequent and really not as bad as everyone makes them out to be, can be annoying.

Is there any news of DLC for that yet?
Or of a 50% off discount?

The DLC should be about before Christmas, I think... There's too many tasty things around at the moment. I'm gonna have to wait a while before getting the new Ass Creed: Bro'hood to get through Fallout... The Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead looks absolutely savage but that'll have to wait as well. And I still haven't played Mafia II either! Blasted education getting in the way of my gaming.

Call of Duty Black Ops is surprisingly good. The campaign has a really different narrative than the previous games.
The multiplayer is pretty much the same. A lot of customization options though. Haven't played enough to form a full opinion of it though.
