Bastard Bastard Bastard arse-rotted filz-louse of a whore-begotten range cooker has blown up again. This time more dramatically- loud bang and green flashes and both ovens completely dead. Everything else still works on the electrics - grill, plate warmer etc and the hobs are all gas but no ovens, no fan. Suspect it is beyond my capability to repair as well - I fixed it last time but that was when all the electrics had gone and it was fairly easy to isolate where it happened. This would require a technician - £94 callout plus parts plus VAT - so that's the thick end of £200 at the least, if it can be repaired.

Grrrrr.

And this would happen a.) just when work has been deathly over the summer break and we have been hand to mouth for weeks, and b.) just as I had finished preparing an enormous dish of 3 meat, 4 cheese (with double cream passata) canneloni.
