Watched One Hour Photo earlier this evening. Pretty interesting movie. One of those movies that definitely succeeds at making you uncomfortable around a specific character. Also further solidifies Robin Williams as a fantastic actor who deserves more serious roles.

Ah dude, I know Black Death is hardly a major movie but maybe avoid the huge spoilers involving the death of major characters? Or at least chuck in a spoiler warning next time.

10-4. But still, he always dies so no major spoiler there

How to train your dragon
loved it, was one of the most entertaining movies I watched recently.

Iron Man 2
wow...I didn't expect much. But didn't expect it to be THAT bad either. Makes Transformers 2 almost seem good!

It's really not that bad, I actually enjoyed it a fair amount, just a bit too smug for its own good. Those transformer movies are incomprehensible messes of mashed steel and LeBeouf running around screaming "No no no no"

yeah but at least there's something going on in the Transformers movies, despite them being absolute nonsense. Iron Man 2 was more like Drunk Tony Stark 2 with almost no Iron Man in it. You wait for about an hour to get to see Iron Man for 2 minutes. Then you wait another 30ish minutes for the actual action to happen and that just consists of Iron Man flying around with high speed and you don't actually see anything. All that would have been no problem if the plot had been good. But all you get to see is Tony Stark being drunk. So if I had to explain the movie to anyone I'd say it's about Tony Stark being drunk and emo.

This.

I enjoyed Iron Man 2. I'd even consider it to be better than the first. (Let the flames of internet hell come on to me) I enjoy the Transformer movies as well, well only the 1st and the 3rd, the 2nd one I couldn't even get through the first half hour. But I agree with Shia's over use of the sequential repetition of the words "No!", "Shit!", and "Ahhhhhhhhhh!".

Don't forget the lens flare. I always try to count the number of times I see a lens flare in one of Michael Bay's films.

the most annoying thing about Bay's movies is..well...Bay's movies. Starts with the stupid camera angles and ends with the completely retarded humor that ain't ever funny. I really only like the Transformers movies because I'm a fanboy and grew up watching the cartoon show when it was released. I remember playing with the toys in Kindergarten, heh. But yeah, if you're not biased these movies are pretty useless too, just like any other Bay movie. I read how 'The Rock' is his best movie but I didn't really care much for that one either.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! You crease me, Greavesy!

That was a joke, right? Connery's last solid performance would be Name of the Rose, a whole 10 years earlier. Although quite inexplicably his dreadful, couldn't be arsed performance in the Untouchables the year after won him an Oscar. But The Rock? hahhahaha. Possibly the only good thing about The Rock is it is the last film with Don Simpson's name on.

Well, okay, obviously we're not talking high art. We're talking last recognizable as a caricature of hollywood performance.

Just saw "Silent running" and LOVED IT!

The sample carbon based lifeforms used in photosynthesis with "What about the forests" at 1:37 comes from Silent Running :D

For the record, the end of "The Abacus" from the Hummer where a female voice says "I have no Idea", comes from a scifi movie called Contact. I won't spoil anything but if u haven't seen it, do it. You will notice when and why Dev sampled it :)
