Improving your skills and performing a ton of skillshots in Echoes mode is soooooo much fun. Got 150,000 skillshot points in Echoes mode so I think I'll try to beat the game on very hard difficulty now.

also, I read that the single player campaign of Homefront is only 5 hours short. So I think I'll wait for it to get cheaper...unless it gets really bad reviews, then I may not buy it at all, heh

Hai guise.

Bulletstorm was pretty good. I liked the over the top action that definitely showed People Can Fly's old school influence.

In between recording I've been playing Just Cause 2 again, mainly because it's just too much fun to fuck around in that game.

Looking forward to Crysis 2 for sure, the demo played solid on xbox (save for the slightly stiff controls, but it was designed for a keyboard and mouse to begin with.)

Though this early in the year I am most looking forward to Portal 2 and Duke Nukem Forever.

Duke Nukem Forever's gonna be a funfest. I don't care if the graphics look dated...the game's gonna kick ass, balls and tits all together.

I just went to confront the PC Gamer magazine guys in the office about Dragon Age 2. And by went to and confront, I mean I spun my desk chair around and was like "94 out of 100, really?" to the guys who work literally behind me.

Well, I guess a freelance reviewer really liked it, but the staff guys weren't as keen, though they weren't as negative about it as most.

I'm waiting on OXM and Gamesradar's reviews since I have to cross a hallway before I can leer at them. :P

Minecraft seems like something that I'd delve far too deeply into to get started on, but it does fascinate the hell out of me. Max PC (not PC Gamer, but my employer) gave it game of the year for last year.

Game of the year? Isn't it still in beta ??
It does look interesting but it's one of those case where I stop myself, cause it looks way too addictive.

I can stop playing Minecraft any time I want. I just never want to stop playing. Ever.

Haven't managed to get multiplayer working, though. Want to host a server so I can do stupid buildings with my brother.

My big creeper statue's finally done (1 block=1pixel cube) and i'm working on a creeper-temple-in-a-mountain. Admin's turned off all mobs though, which is a pity.

I refrain from trying Minecraft like I've refrained from trying WoW...because I know I'd get entirely too sucked into it.

Just read a little article on DNF in Game Informer, they say it's just like old Duke games with no cover mechanics and "limited AI". I like this already.

I've finally gotten to the point where these "modern"(typically read "military") shooters are just so similar. After playing a Serious Sam HD The First Encounter and most of the HD Second Encounter(a few good months ago), I have to say I miss old school FPS games. Like Yahtzee said in his Bulletstorm review, they were so unrealistic but FUN.

I played the First Encounter on xbox and it was pretty good. The aim assist feature makes the game a bit easy, but definitely makes up for the lack of precision. The Second Encounter is great on PC though. The mouse and keyboard set up definitely trumps the xbox controller for a game like Serious Sam.

controls are probably better for any FPS on PC but it's just so much more comfy to have a controller in your hands and play a video game on your couch, heh
