That's a pity. Looks like they spent so much time on the SMART technology and making it look unique that they neglected to put the effort into actually make it a good game at the most basic level. By the looks of the IGN review they've also messed up on making it look good too because there's a lot of issues with lighting and textures. I was contemplating buying it and all but probably won't be bothered now. Given the amount of repetition and apparently flawed visuals it hardly seems worth the money just for the (admittedly fantastic looking) parkour element.

Also, I dunno how many of you guys have seen a 3DS, but they're surprisingly dope, and if not for the lack of software and batterylife (surely to be fixed next model) I'd have one already.

Hrm. I didn't have that problem at all. My brother said he just keeps it at 75% and it doesn't bother him ever.

Is it really worth the extra money, though? It's about €90 to €100 more than a DSi over here, and I just don't see how a bit of layering on the screen can make it worth so much more money. Unless it does other stuff that I'm not aware of... Not looked into it a whole lot cos the €270 price tag just seemed a bit ridiculous to me.

maybe that was the problem. Maybe it was actually set to 100%. It just felt like I had to concentrate and keep my eyes focused a lot and at some point they just started to ache. But even if that wasn't a problem, the price certainly is at the moment. It costs almost as much as a PS3 costs right now I know the PS3 has been on the market for years but still, 250€ is quite a bit of money for a handheld console.

Next set of games, pretty cool online stuff (downloadable original gameboy games, etc), augmented reality potential, has motion control potential.

I'd hold off a year or for the revision model/price cut, but otherwise I think it's pretty darn cool.

I think I'm just going to hold off to next week and get LA Noire.

I'm a huge fanboy of The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mortal Kombat and Resident Eviler Series and recently I've REALLY gotten into playing Team Fortress 2 for the computer.

...ahem...yes...video games. I'm pretty psyched about L.A. Noire. Only one more week!!!! Guess I'll get it for my Xbox despite the fact that the game's coming on 3 discs (ugh). Oh and I read that there might be some kind of online pass coming with the game. Wonder what that one's for.

I don't think it's necessarily due to the length but due to the graphics of the game and all the motion capturing that was used, in game vids and all that stuff.
