Wondering why the tv show Lost still continues after a 2 year break from me watching it. I watched one of the current episodes and just thought: "what the fuck is happening?". The story just gets more and more twisted and well, just trippy. I know it had high ratings and all, but in my opinion where the plot is at the moment is like what the title suggests, its gone lost...

I was taking the train home once, when this guy sat on the seat across from me, complementing my hair and shirt. Since I have a semi-skullet (there's still some left up there) and I was wearing a Corrosion Of Conformity shirt (this guy looked like one of those hip-hop gym junkies), I thought he was making a joke.
Turned out he was being sincere, and suddenly we were discussing a mutual respect for 70's rock music.
Things took a strange turn when he asked me if I was religious; I said no. He then advised me that he was there to give me the gift of Christianity, and that it would............well you can tell where this is going.
I got off at the next stop. I figured 20 minutes til the next train was better than spending the trip home with a missionary.

I remember using them for a while, and then realizing how shitty they are. I love how some random guy recommended them to me in a guitar store recently. Like I havent been playing guitar for years or anything...

Maybe the guitar store dude had his "assume the client's gullible n00b" mode on. When I was browsing cheap guitars recently I had to listen to lots of bulshitting, like cheap Schecters (like omen/omen extreme etc) being made in US, their generic tuners being Schallers etc. Something tells me that's universal characteristic of guitar store dudes around the world.

Well when I say I want "X brand of string in X size" it should be obvious I know what I want. But whether it's customer or employee, most of the time someone tries to give me a recommendation of something I've tried before. It definitely is though, Brunon. Luckily 2 of the better known guitar salesmen around here know me and never give me any of that crap.
