when you're German and get to play the "lovely" dubbed versions then you get used to bad voice acting quickly and pay less attention to it, trust me. I survived both Mass Effect 1 and 2 in German after all, heh :P

Shit'll get repetitive and very easy really quickly... Although the awesomeness of the fancyfaces never wears off.

yup, my thoughts exactly. And the story isn't as epic as I thought it would be.

It has taken more hours than I care to admit to get the MAC OS 7 emulator running on Windows 7 but finally, FINALLY, for the first time since I was about 9 years old...

Been playing some Grand Theft Auto 3 and unlike San Andreas it have not aged well, the cars feels awkward driving, the camera is generally shit and the gunplay is just plain horrible and yet i love it.

O_O

...the hell? My Xbox HD is only 20 Gb so that's not going to work ever. Guess I'll have to get a new 360 in case anything good comes out that uses that engine? I could upgrade the HD alone, but it's probably more cost-effective to get a whole new system with the prices they're asking nowadays.

According to that, LA Noire isn't going to run smoothly either, having to install and uninstall in the middle of the game. :\ Lame.

I never installed LA Noire and had zero issue with it. You should be fine!

Also, Doom 4 will probably be using that engine. And probably end up being as big.

That is good to know. On both statements, since the Doom series is not my cup of tea. :)

I completed Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and got all 1000 Gamerscore points now, yay. Haven't done that for a while in a game. Actually have not played video games a whole lot lately in general. So this has been fun!

As for Rage...WOW. I do have a 120 GB harddrive, I think. But still, everyone who still has a 20 GB harddrive will have to live with longer loading times, I guess.

I'll be finishing up Saints Row 2 tonight. Need to get a few more achievements involving gambling and taunting, but then I'll call it a day on that one. Done all activities apart from the towtruck one, which is pretty impossible anyway. And then onto Mass Effect.

I don't remember the tow truck thing, but I vividly recall the septic truck missions.
Looking forward to Saint's Row 3 around Xmas.

it does look pretty awesome! I discovered Oblivion a little too late and never got into it because of that, maybe because I played it 'after' Fallout 3, heh. But Skyrim may be a whole different story. Looks real neat!

Gawd...September, October and November will be really bad for my wallet. September in particular. Besides movies and music there will be a TON of games. GOW3, Resistance 3, Dead Island, Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD, God of War collection volume 2, possible the Silent Hill HD collection. Argh!!!
