I don't remember the tow truck thing, but I vividly recall the septic truck missions.
Looking forward to Saint's Row 3 around Xmas.

Not because the septic truck missions were hard, I imagine? They're arguably among the easiest of the activities... just stop the truck and spray everything within reach and you'd well clear the required score before the truck ever sees the finish of its intended route. I'll vividly recall those missions, because they're so over-the-top ridiculous. :D

But yes, I'm also definitely looking forward to Saints Row 3. I don't know whether you've seen some teasers already, but so far it looks promising.

It's just so over the top, and whenever I showed that game to friends, I'd have them try activities like that, and I converted a few from GTA4 to Saint's Row.
Game is just plain fun.
I've seen a little of the new Saint's Row, but I try not to view too much media before a game is released, I found that the hype machine can deteriate my gaming experience with expectations set too high.

hmm, Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii actually looks really nice. I'm not really into Final Fantasy too much anymore, mainly because turn based combat is not my cup of tea anymore (and Final Fantasy 13 may have been the biggest disappointment of 2010 to me personally). But I do enjoy fantasy games and this one looks really appealing to me and pretty beautiful for a Wii game....as long as it is much less emo than FF13 was. Might have to pick it up...and I thought Skyward Sword might be my next and last Wii game, heh.

So yes, I quite like Mass Effect. About 15 hours in now, and I've only been in the Citadel and to one other planet. Although I am kinda regretting not choosing a class that is something at least part soldier-y for myself, since pistoling down enemies isn't the most effective way of taking them down. Still, it's keeping me away from things I should be doing instead, which is a good thing. :) Thanks for the recommendations, folks.

Yeeeeees. This pleases me no end.
When you're done, import your Shep into Mass Effect 2 for even more jizzworthy goodness. Bioware ironed out a lot of the kinks in the combat/planet scanning systems and made it less repetitive and annoying. I chose Sentinel class, as biotics are pretty feckin' handy to have.

Pim, seriously. Mass Effect 2- get it done.

I have it. Would you mind letting me finish the first one before I start ME2?

Playing as an engineer btw.

it does look pretty awesome! I discovered Oblivion a little too late and never got into it because of that, maybe because I played it 'after' Fallout 3, heh. But Skyrim may be a whole different story. Looks real neat!

Gawd...September, October and November will be really bad for my wallet. September in particular. Besides movies and music there will be a TON of games. GOW3, Resistance 3, Dead Island, Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD, God of War collection volume 2, possible the Silent Hill HD collection. Argh!!!

Doesn't get any easier after that! Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Saints Row: The Third, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed: Revelations... And they're all released around the time I'll need to be saving money for the trip to London too!

Speaking of AssCreed:Revs, some art stuff popped up from an exhibition in Japan...

and some general images of an assassin recruit, Ezio's heavy armour, Machiavelli, etc...

I, for one, can't fucking wait!! :D

I sort of despise all that "realistic warfare" trend in games, but fucking hell this is well made:

THAT looks so awesome!
But like many already have pointed out, this fall will be stuffed with gazillions of must-get games, so it's
really rolling the dice for new Battlefield.
Looks amazing, but is it too realistic..?

How about Child Of Eden?

Thoughts about this?

After watching few videos of guys playing this, makes me curious.
But still it will cost those gazillions mentioned earlier, so maybe it's not on top of the must-get list.
I am still waiting for THE Kinect game, I love the gadget, but I need something to play with it! :D

I have the Dance Evolution, but it's too damn hard..

And the songs are annoying :D

I rediscovered games on Piratebay... I am hooked on Fable 3. I am a huge fan of the series, I probably have several weeks gameplay on the first game. But it's strange how they change it from game to game... this feels more like a comedy, although I still enjoy it very much.

Finished Mass Effect. Playing the same career now (reloading before the last mission) to finish up all the rest of the sidequests and wondering how the hell you'd get to Level 60. I've done everything apart from the last mission where I won't get more than 2 or 3 levels on top of the level 50 I am now. Perhaps I missed some citadel things in the beginning, but I can't imagine those making all the difference.

Dunno whether I should dive right into ME2 now or replay ME1 as a total bastard biotic instead of a good samaritan engineer.

Also, why can't I make Shepard have gay sex with the krogan? I was super-nice to it...
