The Hulk totally stole the show, watching him/it cause all sorts of mayhem was a lot of fun. The 3D was not too impressive, I assume that's because it was only converted to 3D and there were no real depth and no noticable pop outs. So I think I'd enjoy it even more in 2D. But I had a blast anyways. And all my friends loved it too.

And you didn't invite me?

I'll be going in the next few days. Pick you up around 8?
I'll send my North American Division's best pilot with the spare Gulfstream G650. :D

That's a good point I forgot to mention actually. A lot of these kinds of films attempt to have funny moments and usually fall flat on their face, but there was two or three moments in The Avengers that had the whole cinema in fits of laughter. They hit the humour nail on the head with this one...

Watched both Iron Man movies yesterday.. loved the cartoons when I was a kid and love the movies as well. Probably gonna watch the other character's movies as well. On a bit of a Marvel trip now after The Avengers!

The Avengers tonight (in glorious 2D).
Agree with the senitments above, this was a fun and well thought-out film. The action was where it needed to be, the balance between the characters was well handled, and it had a great story that effectively ties the preceding films together. Not to mention the many humorous moments (I nearly missed Hulk's best line because everyone laughing so hard).
Of the recent spate of Avengers-themed movies, I'd say this is the best one alongside the first Iron Man.

I saw Avengers in 3D. Thought the 3D had gotten alot better since last time, didn't really distract, and the acting seemed more real. But what a fucking huge nerdgasm. Especially at Hulk's glorious moments.

I have to say "The Hulk" has probably been my favourite of all the movies. I thought it was executed extremely well and made the Hulk look like a million bucks.
Really looking forward to checking this out. Think I'll be sticking with good ol' 2-D myself though. For the retro, old-school, no brain ache vibe. :)

Avengers 3D. Grinning all throughout.
3D was fine for me. Great characters.
Iron Man's grand entrance.
Hulk: "PUNY GOD!!" and also giving Thor a love-tap. :amen:

I want a cloakable flying aircraft carrier for Christmas, y'hear?
Plenty of time for a whip round...or I'll disable the Forum.

Great film. Would watch it again in a minute.

Soundgarden closing credit song = cherry on top. 8)

You guys reckon I should go see it, then? My brother went to see it for the second time today, but he's a comic fan, and I'm don't even like comics the slightest. (I did like the other movies though)

Oh hellz ya.

I'm off to see it again in the next few days with a mate of mine who saw it in 2D last week.
Not just hollow "eye candy" as a lot of blockbusters are these days, this one has you riveted throughout, and the acting is stellar. RD Jr. - fuck, I'm glad that guy came back from the brink. :D
The only thing in that film that kept me from turning gay for Chris Hemsworth was Scarlett Johansson.

Woo.
DO NOT MISS.

Right, by the time the eye candy was there to shine there was 4 years of buildup, plus 2 more hours. It was all nerd catharsis.

Also, surprisingly funny.
