Played Limbo again. What a fuckin' atmospherically awesome game. I wish like hell they'd make a really long one of this type.

wow, not bad, mate!
I've still only put about 8 hours into the game but that has nothing to do with the game itself. Just not in a video game mood right now. Maybe playing through the latest Zelda game within one week was a bit too much! Oh well, planning on watching my LOTR Blu-rays this week, maybe that will get me into the right mood for Skyrim.

Coma Divine wrote:425 :!: hours into my first Skyrim character, oddly enough known as "Dave" (good Nord name) and a few glitches are starting to manifest themselves. Stability-wise - the game is very good. The last patch seems to have cured the spontaneous CTDs that were happening, and it runs a dream on my i7 3.2GHz (12GB RAM) with all settings on "Ultra".
The glitches seem to be mostly broken quests.
"Go and kill dragon/bandit/enemy at (insert dungeon location)" only to have the quest target either already dead or disabled from the game entirely. Quest-givers not having dialogue options, annoying stuff.

Save before starting any quest, no matter how minor.

If you go to your map to see the destination marker...and there isn't one...chances are it has dicked out. The are SOME workarounds available by playing on PC, but I've got about 7 or 8 buggered ones in my Journal so it ain't all roses.
They are compiling a bug mega-list on the Bethesda Forums, so hopefully some of this will be rectified in the 1.4 patch sometime this month.
(and the 1.4 patch doesn't screw up some of the improvements wrought by the 1.3 patch...which in turn screwed up stuff from the PREVIOUS patch...ouroboros ouroboros...)

Damn! Well done sir. Got about 50 on my main, probably about 5 cumulative on the couple other characters I made. The major glitch I keep running into on Xbox is the entire system freezing up on load screens, namely leaving a building. The thing will just sit there and do nothing. So yes, I have learned... SAVE CONSTANTLY. Have about 4 or 5 save files, just in case. Luckily I haven't got shafted too bad yet.

after only 8 hours it's hard to judge but I was surprised how amazing Skyrim looks on the 360 and how smoothly it runs. But I thought the same thing about Fallout 3 and then after 80 hours it started to lag, heh. Seems like that happened to PS3 owners who played Skyrim for a certain amount of time as well.

Yeah, that happened to me. Very strange but most of all very annoying. It was fixed with a patch though.
I currently have 150 hours put into Skyrim, though I have not played it for more than 3 during the past few weeks. I don't know why. I started off really fast with nearly 20 hours in two days.

Finished the story of Red Dead Redemption again. I don't think I'll bother going after 100% this time, I did that my last playthrough. I can't be bothered hunting badgers and skunks for hours.

So now I could either finish up Mass Effect 2 or start Driver San Francisco. Or go after 100% in LA Noire. Heavily leaning towards Driver.

DAMMIT SO LITTLE TIME.

Trying to complete 100% in GTA IV before the last mission. Hunting pigeons and stunt jumps take too long. Street races easy so far, which means they'll get ridiculously hard at any moment.
Still, vigilante missions are a vast improvement over every other game in the series.

I've downloaded a Gameboy Advance emulator a couple of days ago. Now I'm playing Pokémon Emerald all the time with all kinds of Pokémon that I don't know. Some of them are quite ridiculous.
I really enjoy it though, I never played any Pokémon game on GBA before.

I went bonkers on the Steam holiday sale but cannot download any of the games I bought because I'm over my bandwidth quota for the month.

Oh my god, this. My steam library is mostly greyed out, we have a 25gb monthly limit. Can't wait to move, I'm gonna throw money at a better plan asap. I think tomorrow I'm gonna go to my uni and raid the internets...before I drop out in a week or so, hahaha.

Steam...*bloik* LAV.

Talk about yer "necessary evils"...
Try to set Steam to play in offline mode (if your 'net is down for whatever reason) and it won't let you because it can't connect to the Steam network...

What.
