I had that experience last night...but woke up today and just got mad that I let people and situations get to me sometimes. You are AWESOME! WE are awesome. Don't you forget it, my friend.

PRAISE THE LAWD!! Redneck assholes.
Other pastoral leaders in the area were quick to denounce the church's vote. "It's not the spirit of the community in any way, shape or form," Randy Johnson, president of the Pike County Ministerial Association, told the Lexington Herald-Leader.
It's not like this. My family grew to a wife with 2 black children when I got married. We've gone to a LOT of places in the south and never got so much as a second glance in a LOT of places, and never the kids never received poor treatment either, that I know of. These instances listed in the article are exceptions, not the rule, and people are becoming more vocal here in denouncing instances thereof.

I have no doubt people in the south are more open minded these days. It's just a shame there are still those who cling to such backward beliefs, and give everyone else headaches as a result. Good to hear the comments of that church are being denounced.
I think Rowan, my best friend and cat, is ill. He is almost 15 years old. Man, this is going to suck hard.

My girlfriend's best friends father passed away today. While that may seem like a fair amount of separation and that maybe it wouldn't hit that hard, he's been like a second father to my girlfriend since she met her friend in kindergarten. He and my girlfriends father were best friends as well. It's so sad, he was only 49. Went to take a nap and his wife came in to wake him but couldn't get him up. So sudden, it's insane. Feel so bad for his family, and it's always so difficult to see your significant other hurt as well.
