Funny, she looks like a cross between my team leader and Sarah Silverman.

There's Barack & Michelle Obama ones too, just FYI. Have shipped a few through my work - not sure how I felt about it.

THOSE EYES.

Also, apparently people are getting fined for planking now. And not just on railway lines or cop cars, either. I've seen articles with cops saying it's not illegal, but they're charging people who do it dangerously with committing an 'unauthorised high risk activity' . And so they should fine people if they're being dangerous, but I've heard plenty of people complaining that they've been fined for it when it wasn't, some girl on Facebook told me that she got fined for lying in the driveway of her own home. Why, I don't know. But that seems pretty ludicrous to me...soon they'll probably be fining sunbathers tanning their backs, too. :?

Some guy in the city in the past hour slashed a Garda in the face with a 12 inch knife before stealing his traffic jeep and driving to Cork Airport. Upon arrival at the airport he proceeded to ram through security fences before getting out of the van and into a parked fire engine on the runway. He then battered through a load of airport vehicles and tried to ram the fire engine into an AerLingus Boeing.

Picture from Twitter of the chaos he managed to cause:

I don't get planking AT ALL. It isn't even funny!

Meh... maybe I'm old.

That said, there is absolutely no way a fine or any sort of criminal charge could be upheld for lying face down in your own driveway on your private property. If it was a shared driveway, you were on the gutter/road in front of it, you were on the driveway where it intersects with a public footpath or similar, or it was a driveway in a block of flats etc, then yeah you could justify it. But if someone fined me for lying ON MY OWN DRIVEWAY, I'd be contesting that in court like nobody's business.

Fail quote. :P

But yeah I agree. Not that I would have any real reason for lying on my driveway, but for christ's sake if you're on your own property, doing no harm, being penalised is ludicrous.
