I ordered By a Thread via Amazon as the asking price is $42.08. I did so through a friend's account, as he wanted to get a bunch of stuff for himself, as cheaper shipping, which is cool. He got an email this morning advising our package may not be received until early August.
Now, a couple of weeks wait I can understand, but 6-7 weeks? Ugh. My patience is wearing thin, seeing as how this is not a pre-order.

He probably did free super shipping and packaged everything at once to ensure the cheapest shipping possible

Could be, he mentioned that bulk orders do have reduced shipping costs.

Now here's a twist for you!

Went to buy some shoes and invariably entered the hi-fi shop next door. Went to the music section to see if there was any metal I was interested in, and I noticed By a Thread was sitting there. My first thought was FUUUUUUUU! Then I saw it was $63. Wait though I must, I'm still paying less for the online order, so I'm not gonna let this bother me. Did get a dry laugh out of it.
