Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

I loved him, he told me he was cutting himself over a girl (I wonder who), and instead of giving him sympathy I told him about the time a guy in my class self-harmed and severed nerves which permanently paralysed his left arm (fat lie but lol) and he was all "Oh no I'm doing it the correct way, no problem areas."

I would never rob that syl fan of his heavy affectations and privacy.

And this is why I don't go to metal gigs any more.

I try to make an exception for Dev as he's, y'know, Dev. But the rest? Fuck it. Too many wankers.

I've done the human fence thing myself, for my lady. It was at an MIA gig, of all things. She was a huge fan at the time so we got to the front super early and I basically grabbed the fence on either side of her, held tight and was pummeled relentlessly by little shits screaming "OOOIIII LAAARV YEEEEUUUU EEEMMM OOIII AAAAYYYY!!!". Luckily I outweighed most of them by a good 40-50kg, but a full set's worth of angry, bony elbows and knees to the back, legs and arms leaves a bloke bloody sore the next day.

Sean, I read your story and, although I like to think of myself as a peaceful man also, if I were you I would've wanted to knock his fucking teeth out.

I hope everyone's next gig is douche free!

Saw Devy at Nottingham last year, it was a great gig. Sure, there was shoving and stuff, but you have to expect it. All in all everyone was super-cool. Same at the acoustic show at Stoke, though there were a bunch of dicks talking through Terminal. Seriously? Yeah. Some people have no respect... I mean, why even go, if all you want to do is chat balls? Retinal Circus will be ace - I'm far from rich, but would have been happy to pay even more, just to ensure that the people going are actually fans.

KoRn, Issues tour, Manchester. Most painful gig ever. Spent the entire set getting kicked in the back of the head by crowd surfing idiots. Do people still do that? I have no idea.

Imogen Heap, Ellipse tour, Manchester. Most spoiled gig ever. Not because of Imogen - she rocked - but because of a bunch of idiots next to us talking through the ENTIRE set. We were on the balcony so it was quite quiet, and after an hour I snapped and bollocked these two gossiping girls. They carried on regardless, so I called security who proceeded to try to throw ME out.

*sigh*

Perhaps potential new Dev fans should have to do a couple of weeks trial period on here to be vetted by we true fans before they can buy any albums or tickets etc? That way the Weak and the Lame and the Posers can be weeded out and the Douches flushed out and the following of Dev remain pure.

Rock City? I was at Nottingham last year too and it wasn't bad at all right at the barrier.

Manchester the night after was fucking horrific though, I was at the barrier for that too and came home with some very nasty bruising to my ribs/boobs. Crowdsurfing idiots galore. If I remember rightly the Academy venue was downgraded to a smaller room even though it was a sell-out. We were packed in there like cattle.
The day after that? Total fucking agony walking around in Rotterdam. :P

/Girly whine.

Aye, Rock City. Great night.

As much as I love Manchester, I can't remember a single gig I've been to there that wasn't spoiled to some degree by an idiot or idiots. Usually drunk, either angry and looking for trouble, or ignorant and disrespecting of the performer or crowd. I suppose Manchester gigs tend to attract more of a melting pot of peoples, so idiots are expected I guess.

I could have told you that just by knowing Manchesters geographical location.

I'ms not trying to be an elitist Dev fan, but dicks are dicks. Plain and simple.

8===D = 8===D

And Justin, yeah... it really took a lot for me not to clock him. The prospect of potentially getting kicked out really helped his case. It was especially funny because he didn't know the big ass dude standing next to him was my friend in case I needed back up :D
