Inappropriate language from a mod perhaps, but FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.

What the hell George.

The only possibility for any hope is that Disney may steer Lucas away from the disastrous direction he took the prequels. They at least have some talented film makers at their disposal. Problem is he's given every indication that he's just become a massive arse.

Just look at the recent Marvel films. It will be fine, I think. They will reign whoever directs in.

Com one you all. Disney has a better track record than most. Sure, there are John Carters, but those films are not the dominant image.

The only thing good I see coming from this is that someone who can actually write a fucking screenplay and direct a movie (ie not George Lucas, at least the George Lucas that exists now) going back and remaking the new trilogy. The story in those three movies has SO much potential, potential that George squandered away on Jar Jar fart jokes and the most 2 dimensional acting/storyline possible. I think, in the right hands, the new trilogy could be great.

I enjoyed John Carter more than the SW prequels, ironically.

The main problem remains George Lucas. He's become an awful maker of movies.

Fingers crossed he hands over direction to someone who knows what characters and plot are as he did with Empire. The next battle would be to allow someone who can write to fix whatever ridiculous script he comes up with.

Yep, we liked John Carter too... but then we'd read the book as kids so that maybe makes a difference.

The pictures of what used to be the Atlantic City boardwalk were crazy. Huffington Post had a massive gallery of images up that I was looking at last night. Some incredible destruction, it must be said. My aunt lives on Staten Island and she said she went to take her kids to a friends house that had electricity after the storm passed and on the way out of their estate there's a big huuuuge tree that had a big huuuuge boat adorning it. Mental...
