Apocalypto

Wow.

I've seen it three times now.
Story floats around one village, one family, one hero.
Characters are good, the ones that need to be left shallow, are left like that.
The important ones are real, and you can relate to the
poor hero (like my man did) or to the savages (like I did).
Funny how things go in that movie..
I really like history and mayas are extremely fascinating.

Even though, this movie rocks.
Only minus has to be given to extras.
Mel Gibson really seems like he's taken something stronger than man.

9+/10

Am I the only person on this planet who thinks Apocalypto is boring as hell? Biert doesn't count :D

I don't like it either... Mel Gibson should stick to acting, and leave the directing to people who understand entertainment.

Braveheart is my favorite movie, so I HIGHLY disagree.
I haven't seen Apocalypto, but I really want to. I also really enjoyed The Passion, even though I'm not sure I could watch it again. Too emotional.

I haven't seen The Passion as... I just don't want to, hehe. However I think Gibson is a more interesting big-bucks Hollywood director than many. At least he's making what he wants and doesn't seem to give a flying about what anyone else thinks. And yes indeed, Braveheart rocks. I mean, it's got swords and accents and bare bums and, most importantly it's got Sophie Marceau in medieval dress.... .... *drool*

Got Apocalypto on DVD but never found the right time to watch it. Maybe tonight...

Go watch it now, you won't be disappointed! It's a bit long, and there are _alot_ of running at the end, but it's total movie magic in my opinion.

Hmh, say what you say, I loved the whole thing.
And how WOW can men look like?
Guess I wa drooling the whole movie so much that
I finally drowned in it and dreamt that it was an awesome
movie

Rudy Youngblood looks like the most boring fella normally.
Brrrr.
But in the movie..
I wish I was taken away into a jungle with him :why:
