I ponder...

I could potentionally, have the oppertunity to create and show case a bunch of clothing for a smallish alternative show/collection type of thing...

The only thing is, is it would mean coming up with my whole brand (Logo, name, etc.), at least 5 or 6 outfits, (And possibly some for a stall) as well as all my college work, by the 27th of June...

It could work, seeing as I'm on a fashion course, I can probably get my lecturers help tie it in with my current work too...

But I don't knwo if its more than I can chew, or just go "fuck it!" and dive in, for better or (hopefully not) worse... I've checked out a couple of the other fashion people there, they look fairly professional, so it could be a little daunting. But I know a few people in the circuit so I dunno.

Sorry, mumbling! D:

Aw Amber that's great!!! It seems like a lot of work , but it sounds too good to pass up. Maybe some other opportunities will arise from going through with it. Plus, that's a little over 2 months to do it.

I don't really know what I'm talking about, but it seems like a good chance.

Plus, as far as logos, names - I'm thinking something like "Finest Bean," "Bastard Inc." or "Soul Driven Clothing"..... or something along those lines

Finest Bean would be a brilliant name for a coffee shop! Hahaha, Pun most likely intended! :D

And yeah, it could be a good chance for other oppertunies, which is why I thought it would be a good idea. I'm just afraid of messing the whole thing up. But I guess nothing ventured, nothing gained. 8)

It sounds cool and would say go for it, but I really don't have a clue as to how much work is involved in designing/making your own clothes... Nor do I have any clue about your personal schedule (and no, this isn't a hidden question.. I'm not that creepy). All I can say is that if you get an opportunity to do something you really like, then take it! Hope you Triumph. :p

As for the name.. Color Your World Inc., unless you're using a lot of The Greys? Maybe Down And Under if you're doing lingerie (or perhaps Hide Nowhere Inc.), and your position in your company could be the Omnidimensional Creator (or possibly Regulator). It'll be like you're a Traveller selling Things Beyond Things, but be careful not to get Tiny Tears in your Material.

...k, I'll stop now.

Thank goodnees...

I kid! I love word play and interlinking themes - They are my life blood. Or I just get hot for words. I dunno.

And for a company name, I think "Outside In" would be good. Just becuase I like the sound of it. And you're intials would be "OI!" =D

People would probably think you were just ripping of InsideOut. Or the multitude of things already called OutsideIn... It'd have to be original. Which in these times when most good names are taken, usually means something long, elaborate and incredibly stupid.

Like that band name thats something like:

...And they will know by the trail of the dead. Or something.
Who needs and Ellipsis at the start of their name? Do you have to pause to say it? Imagine that in general conversation, "So have you heard... ...And they-"?

It's silly. Or maybe I'm silly. Who knows! :D

Also, I think I shall try and go for it. I'll get a myspazz or facebook whatever set up (Once I come up with a name) And then ask. I guess I have nothing to lose after all. :P

And swervedriver, high five for fitting that many puns in a sentance, and it STILL making sense! :D

^ I love this. That's a whole lot of puns 8)

Good point with the ellipses Amber. I always questioned that as well. Isn't there a band called 'The Academy Is... or maybe it's ...The Academy Is? I don't remeber, but I thought that that was a terrible band name. I mean, what the hell does that even mean? :?

No offense to anyone who likes the band, I just don't get it.

what about Sunn 0)))?

Pretty pointless second bit... but i suppose it can be seen as just a logo or something.

"Sunn Zero Bracket Bracket Bracket"
lol

There are loads of bands with "..." at the start.

Theres a band with a name that stands for "The Obliteration of Humanity" called "!T.O.O.H.!"

How about the band called "!!!"? (3 exclamation marks)

That's not a word, or even a sound. How would one even refer to this band?

As for the pun appreciation, thanks. It's nice to finally have found a place where I can unleash the crazy related to all things Townsend. :D

But then, how would you ever introduce yourselves?

"Ladies and Gentleman, thank you for coming out tonight! You ahave rocked so fucking hard, we're sure you made our balls drop a couple of inches more! We are..." And here, there was a moment of blank silence. This was their first big gig, and before they had never really introduced themselves. But tonight, !!! were in a true quandry. What could they say? The singer, in a move of desperation, attempted to say every letter of the alphabet, followed by the table of elements, followed by the sound of a seagull berrating a pellican for bullying it's son, in the space of two seconds. The crowd stood, shocked into silence. And then, left, never to buy their albums or listen to their music again. That was the fall of !!!.

See, man? Why you gotta go give them that crazy name. They had such potential...

According to last.fm it can be pronounced somehow: "The band’s name was inspired by the subtitles of the movie The Gods Must Be Crazy, in which the mouth-clicking sounds of the Bushmen were represented as “!”. Chk Chk Chk is the most common pronunciation, but they could just as easily be called Bam Bam Bam, Uh Uh Uh, Pew Pew Pew, etc."

... Words fail me.
