You actually beat that game on Professional? I honestly thought that mode is the most frustrating, non-fun mode ever...

In other news, Bethesda has proceeded to piss me off by taking the new Fallout 3 DLC, The Pitt, off the marketplace due to bug issues...

I've been managing several games at a time recently.

Bored of Left 4 Dead - the new content coming this spring won't really be enough to sustain interest for long, unless the community come up with some brilliant things using the SDK.

Bought Guild Wars - got to level 5 and haven't been able to logon since, connection errors everywhere.

Still have to finish Fallout 3 - I've been playing it less and less. Since I'm near the end I'm just running around exploring, still have a lot of stuff left to uncover.

Playing through World of Goo slowly, it's a small game so I don't want to soak it all up in one day, it's too good to go through it so quickly.

Played Half-Life 2 co-operatively with a couple of people using the Synergy mod on the Source engine, fun fun fun.

Somewhat addicted to Dawn of War: Soulstorm, since I can't afford to get Dawn of War 2 right now.

Recently pre-ordered Zeno Clash - waiting for it to come out, amazing art-style.

Also recently bought Dark Messiah: Might and Magic and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, yet to really start those beyond the first 20 minutes.

Also have a bunch of games I've bought or otherwise acquired this year on PS1/PS2 that I still have to play/replay/finish - Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grant Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, God Hand, Tony Hawk's Skateboarding, Tony Hawk's Underground, Overblood, WWF Warzone, Tekken 3, SSX Tricky, SSX 3, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, and Syphon Filter 2,

Max Payne 3 announced for Winter 2009 release, being developed by Rockstar Vancouver instead of Remedy. I want this.

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 are the shit! So glad I still have them =D

I've been actually thinking of going back through Resident Evil 1 and 2 because of the interest RE5 has peaked in me once again. I love RE games!

I'm not familiar with that system.

Wii and Nintendo in general is just kids toys. So getting a kid will give you an excuse to get a Wii.

Voila

yup, I did. But that is only really doable when you play it coop with a buddy. The W. and J. fight (don't wanna ruin it for anyone) was a bit frustrating...well, 'a bit' is an understatement but other than that it was quite doable.

that's what I did last year. I got me a gamecube just so I was able to play all the lovely RE games again, heh. I still own RE1 DC and RE2 for the PS1 but alas, don't own a PS1 anymore and never owned a PS2.

Yahtzee is so damn funny, watch his other reviews of games like Bioshock, Half Life, Halo is the best though.

I can see that ephel, I just found Pro mode to be extremely frustrating and frustration in games never amounts to fun for me...

Very nice, and very accurate! I had this game for 4 days (rented it), and got most of the trophies for it--all except for the pro-mode bullshit, just because I didn't see a point to it if I didn't own the game. Regardless, never give your CPU co-op partner a stun-stick. That's the only weapon she would use, even though she had tons of ammo.

Decent game, though, aside from the awful plot and all the annoying little things.

Beat Resident Evil 5 on Professional...only 2 parts really gave me trouble and made me want to break things! Me and my friend really destroyed shit, especially with an infinite rocket launcher!

Only 3 achievements left to go, shouldn't be hard. Then I have all the versus mode ones to try for.

Also, that was the 5th time I had played through the game =D My 6th time, I plan to beat it in under 2 hours!
