I did score that download "Time Flies" for pre-ordering though -and I think this is the first and only time I'll ever say this- wasn't digging it one bit. Mostly because it didn't sound like Porcupine Tree at all. AT ALL. Steven wasn't even singing, it was some lady It was just very strange. Do not want. Have you heard that track?

If you say the material sounds like old Porcupine Tree though, that's fine by me. I like it all - Nathan also mentioned that it had some Meshuggah-ish guitars, cool vocal harmonies; throw in some Pink Floyd-type stuff, some FOABP-style.... all that kind of thing. THAT sounds awesome. Do want.

Wow, that was a great video - it was clear, there wasn't a bunch of crowd noise, and you could see everyone. But yes, Mikael's voice was kind of strange It wasn't awful, he just kind of... well yes sounded like Nathan Explosion. Really quality video though. Cool Nathan!

I havent listened to Time Flies yet, but I have a feeling with the rest of the album it will sound great.

Well, from the teaser they put on their myspace, this album seems incredibly experimental, even by PT's terms!

When he said "Meshuggah-ish" guitars, he wasnt kidding. It sounded like Wilson actually tuned down to G or F# for some stuff! I'm really psyched!

Oh wow! Sounded great, I hadn't heard the whole song I guess. I like when Steven is singing, that's the best. I only heard the edited song, so maybe the whole Time Flies isn't as unfortunate as I had thought it was.

I noticed that as well, sounds kinda sloppy. Perhaps he should try and wear his own shoes next time instead of Lopez'.

Not to sound horrid, but his kick sound is horrible. It just sounds like really fast clicks rather than kicks. In that video, at least. ( I don't listen to alot of Opeth. xD)

But yeah, you can hear he is struggling a bit, but he corrects himself pretty quickly.

Going to change my motherboard and processor out soon. Looked up about changing the motherboard (havent gone that far before) and didnt realize it would be that much of a task =/
