Greetings

I just realised (after look through all my posts from the CP) that I'd never posted in here... It says I signed up back in 2004, though I've been more active the last two weeks than the last 6 years or so.
So, hi! Long time SYL and Dev fan. I got into SYL in 1997 when I heard Detox on one of the Metal radio shows when I was in high school. City was one of the first CDs I ever owned and it's scratched up to hell now.
I should really get the reissue version except I'm a lil anti buying reissues. I saw SYL on their first Aussie tour, the gig cost a measley $16AU and I still have the ticket stub. The venue has even changed names now (used to be Lava Lounge, now is The HiFi Bar & Ballroom). This is also one of the two shows the No Sleep Til Bedtime gig was recorded from. I've seen SYL and The Dev every time they / he toured Aus, except in 2003 when I moved to Northern British Columbia. However, I got to see SYL support Meshuggah in Vancouver that year, and I saw SYL, DTB and ZH play in Edmonton, Alberta at the one event. It was prolly my most memorable gig ever. I caught one of the flying cheese slices that the guys were hurling out on stage. I have pics somewhere in Fb. Heh...
I cannot recall if No Sleep... came out before Ocean Machine, but I got into all of Devin's solo records and I have everything by Devin released to date including a few rare things and special editions. I don't have the C:enter:### record though. Want! I have plenty of signed stuff though, albums covers and posters mostly. Yay!
I'm seeing DTP at Soundwave Revolution in Melbourne, I mean Melton, this September and it will be glorious.
