St. Louisan here to say hello

Greetings all,

I bet a lot of people bitch about this, but I just came on here wondering why St. Louis is never picked for any of Dev's tours. I do not have the time or money to drive the 4-6 hours to Chicago and St. Louis is completely depraved of any decent prog bands. It saddens me

"Meet me in St. Louis, Louis. Meet me at the..."
Sorry, showing my age, there.

Depraved? Sounds like my kinda town.
Anyway, I (and many others) share your pain. Being in remote, far-flung regions of the globe limits our ability to grab a hold of major Dev tours.
Welcome though. You will find many kindred souls (and those kindred who have sold theirs) in these here anals.

Sorry! Annals. I'm still mesmerised by the "depraved" bit.

I had to travel from Trondheim to Oslo to see Dev in march. That's a 10 hour drive (all though I travelled by plane). I WIN!
Also... I fled to England twice this summer to see the lad. I WIN AGAIN!

Well, I would have won... if I didn't move to London a few weeks ago. NOW I HAVE TO WALK FOR 30 MINUTES D':

Seriously though. People travel a lot larger distances to travel than that. I know the whole "some people have it worse" doesn't really do much good... but not everyone can have their way I'm afraid.

...Oh yeah, welcome, of course! :D

Welcome. I live in San Francisco, so I've never really known what that's like. My heart goes out to all of you though, dunno what I'd do without the good tunes.
