Hello all, long time metal fan from Wisconsin here, but fairly new to the world of Devin Townsend. I was aware of Dev from his production work on GWAR's "Beyond Hell," but I'd never really listened to him until Deconstruction leaked on the web early last year. I love the way that album kind of lulls you into a false sense of ease at the beginning and then just grabs you when the heavy part kicks in and then doesn't let go. By the time I got to the middle section of "Mighty Masturbator" I was hooked! Then later, as I delved deeper into the backcatalogue (and SYL) I was just further and further amazed at how much great music he's put out over the years, and also at how much great music I'd been missing out on!
