You are fortunate enough to have the chance to answer a crucial question: What kind of country do you want to live in?

Is it one in which we are governed by people who view national prosperity through the narrow prism of their own material success?

Or one run by people who believe our collective well-being and progress is determined by how evenly fortune and opportunities are shared around?

A government that believes this country is unable to be secure and at ease with itself unless wealth and privilege are available to everyone?

Or one that believes wealth and privilege belong exclusively to those who already have it.

Because, when you decipher all the conjecture and cut through the noise from the minor parties like the Lib Dems, UKIP, Greens and the nationalists, there are only two governments to choose from.

Only two visions on offer.

Vote for whoever the fuck you like, neither are brilliant but neither are fucking awful. The country where my dad's from (or er..fleed from) has had the same monster for their president since 1987...whatever happens will be a tad better than that.

But frankly, you should probably ignore media distortion of your final vote, watch BBC Parliament, read about policies and laws before they make you angry. There seems to be a lot of beef over the "rich" with this election; most of my clients are what you would probably call the ultra rich, they have insane amounts of money. I've not had one yet who was born into it though, they were all hard-workers from many different backgrounds (with the exception of footballers' wives, they just married into it and were cunts anyway) one of them started out as a cleaner in Russia, came over with her husband, formed a business and made their fortune. Yeah I'm probably being biased but if rich people were punished then they'll just simply leave the country; then we wouldn't have employment for cleaners, gardeners, nannies/au pairs, private drivers, personal security etc. Not to mention a lot of specialist tradespeople that I know who'd be out of work, you wouldn't dream to pay £5,000 for a traditionally gilded chest of drawers would you? Well someone did so a carpenter, designer and gilder (ello) could pay their bills.

Like I said, vote whoever you want, but folks should stop focusing on rich people as being the problem and look at the other issues.

...now I'm going to continue playing Cards Against Humanity in my undies and try to ignore the rest of the election tonight.
