FF Digital Connectivity is almost documentary about band. If you're expecting live dvd, you could be disappointed.
It contains all of their videos ("Replica", "Cars", "Resurrection" and "Linchpin") and live shots of few songs (from different eras), so it's documentary with rather large addition of music.

Yep. It's meant to be this documentary, but it's just a chronological look at their songs with random shit in there. It's bollocks. If it had interviews and camcorder footage of them playing at LA parties it'd be good. But it doesn't and is just pure wankery.

Im tipping Deep Purple

Ive not seen this dvd, but I saw them a couple of months ago in a 2000 seat theater in Melboure and they were in mighty fine form, especially Morse.
I might just pick up a copy myself tomorrow. . .

Haha! I bought the Deep Purple DVD, options were all cool so I just bought the cheapest.

And behold, it was good!!! Morse is THE GOD.

Pros:

+Morse is amazing
+The band does not have that "play as recorded" problem as for example Dream Theater, they jam around and play their old songs with totally different arrangements. They have fun with music. Awesome.
+They give a lot space for Steve Morse, which is good if you like guitar playing, there is FUCKLOADS to watch.
+True live show, not a premeditated showcase with multimedia silliness
+Camera work is brilliant, when Steve Morse plays solos they are all there on the screen, not some random spectator's butt
+Interviews were inspiring, honest and funny

And cons:

-These guys are old as fuck and it's not cool to watch geezers in their sixties wearing leather pants. Yuck.
-I don't like the singer
-It is not METAL

Who's singing for those guys nowadays?

Ian Gillian. Original line up with Morse replacing Blackmore. Better that way. If you're into guitar, you can see Steve taking a piss at Richie. Haha.

Hasn't Blackmore turned into a wizard or elf nowadays? He's fucking mad.

I am not a fan so I don't know nor care. Last time I read something of him, he was "retired".

Dunno about madness. Sounds cool.
