Interesting allegory, however I find toilets to be much more useful than social media. But that got me thinking about how much they have in common.
They're both places that can be universally shared or used privately; you go to dump your shit, piss and other things. You can fart around, write on the walls, and when they get backed up or clogged it causes a nasty mess. Naturally some toilets, like some sites, are much nastier than others.
How fitting then that most social media addicts (at least in this country) spend the majority of their time on these sites while in the loo.
