so tomorrow is when I'll pick up GTA5 I think. I wanted to wait a few days to see which version I'll get. PS4 version won my vote.

holy shit you guys, gta5 on ps4 is insane. i've just been diving around drooling all over the graphics for HOURS !! :D  It looks amazing, everything feels much more alive. Mighty impressive. If you needed a reason to get a next-gen console then this is a pretty damn good one

also...first person view is pretty sweet. Have not tried it in combat yet but just wandering around in fps in a gta game is neat.

I felt similarly about graphics I was laughing at the other day.

I don't consider myself a gamer (I used to be more so in highschool) but I play minecraft and team fortress 2 sometimes, just as stress relief.

can't stop drooling all over GTA5, heh. Besides being really gorgeous it's also soooo much fun, even if this is my second playthrough now (fitst next-gen playthrough though). Still need to discover most of the new content and I kind of doubt I'll find most of it on my own, hehe. I often switch to first-person controls and they work surprisingly well because you can customize them to your liking. There's even an option for standard FPS controls so anyone who has played a FPS before should like that.

I still haven't finished my first playthrough on PS3, about 59% through I think. Had a Jaws moment during my last run when I was scuba diving as Michael to pick up submarine parts, when out of nowhere a great white attacked me. Oh well, at least the auto save kicked in before then, heh.

I got a couple humble bundles. Already have the original dreamcast and Saturn games but fuck it.

That's so awesome to hear! I scored an early Black Friday deal and should be getting my PS4 by the weekend :)

Yes! I am planning on replaying GTA5! For now, I am playing Last of Us Remastered and I am walking around   The textures, the lighting, hair strands! I ended up going with the Little Big Planet 3 bundle, which is also a fab game.

whaaaaa? I have to disagree, it looks amazing, to say the least. I put in GTA5 for my Xbox 360 just to compare the 2 and almost had to laugh because it looks so much better on PS4 (and Xbox One I assume). I did some base jumping today and was super high in the sky in a helicopter and the amount of detail even in the furthest distances is incredible. Everyone I showed screenshots and videos to which I made with my PS4 was highly impressed. Rightfully so.

And I agree, Victoria. TLOS looks super impressive too. And the 60 FPS make everything look sooooo super smooth. I do not regret the next-gen upgrade in this case either.
