Ah, Pat Robertson. I'm amazed nobody has killed you yet.

I've been discovering the joys of actually subscribing to interesting channels. I had no idea some of these existed. Ashens is a good diversion for a few minutes, but the one that I'm completely nuts about is The Great War. They're chronologically detailing how WWI unfolded through twice weekly posts exactly 100 years after the events themselves.

Fascinating to gain some real insight into the political intricacies that were behind the whole bloody, terrible mess of the Great War. And the host is very easy to listen to, although I wish he would slow down just a fraction when describing the movement of troops. It gets hard to follow when you're binge watching nearly 100 episodes to catch up!

I'm on my phone so no link right now, but just search for The Great War.

Awesome.

This is brilliant. Watching the whole movie for the review must have been painful.

Oh man those LA Noire videos are awesome! Super hilarious :D
Had opportunity to buy VR set for PS4 for about 3rd of the normal price and thought "naaah..". Fast forward 12 hours, me driving frantically back to the store to find the last box gone. Damn I was bummed!

yeah, those LA Noire videos are almost like a 1940's comedy version of The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up video

you know, I think it may make sense to wait for the next generation of VR anyways. the PS5 will probably be released in 2020 already. I'm pretty sure there will be a Playstation VR2 for it. And that will have better resolution and maybe 60 frames per second for all the games which will make VR games much easier to cope with for your eyes.

But I'll admit, I'd like to try it too just to play Resident Evil 7 on it. That game must be about 10 times scarier that way.
