For all of you stoners around:
http://www.i-doser.com/

It's a software that works with binaural braiwaves (sounds cool huh? ), and apparently it's supposed to give you the same reaction you'd have on different situations, for example, on the use of heroin, or having something to get you sleepy and so on.

They had the most ingenious idea: they sell the doses for small prices, and you can only play them once (i must admit that i'm looking for a way of getting around the system as i type  ), so that guarantees they'll get at least money from the curious.

But uncle Yanko found this:
http://rapidshare.com/files/25157296/todas_as_doses.rar
:D

you can download the program freely with 2 free doses, but remember: you can only play them once. I'd advise you search around the site a bit before trying it. Some of the doses seem quite scary

I tried the "Inspire" dose, and it actually did make my mind think a lot about music, not sure if it's related to having the dose or not. But i can guarantee no orchestral idea that went through my head turned into a tenor singing in an unknown language before taking that

Cool thing is: reading the testimonials for the "strongest" ones, people usually say the same thing. And teorethically, it's plausible. So i'd say you all bums give it a try and post the results here! :D

I tried one of the sleep ones, don't know if it had the effect it was going for, but right near the end someone shut a door in my house and it completely jolted me, so it clearly did something to me as far as my brainwaves went, it was pretty cool, it said it was supposed to be like a painkiller, but I didn't quite get that feel, but not too far off, very interesting (note, I also didn't use the headphones they reccomended. Instead I put my speakers at each side of my head, that seemed to work just fine).

headphones probably work better cause they help avoiding external noises and i could guess that there might be some minor differences on the wave that reaches your head because of the distance between the speakers and your ears. Binaural stuff works by using different freqs on each ear to create an intermediate one that only your brain perceives, so that's why you gotta have a nicely set stereo setup near to your ears, so i'd say they're not exaggerating when they really really recommend it :D

Is that safe?
so this is my first time ever so i was thinking it wasnt really gonna actually work. then i started smiling and it hurt to stop. then i started laughing. so i was laying down and i sat up and saw a plant and jsut yelled "I AM THE PLANT" for no reason and started laughing so i couldnt stop. i kept repeating the line "i am the plant" to myself until i noticed the ceiling was "trying to eat me" and so i shut my eyes to stop it but that only made hintgs worse casue every time i shut my eyes i freaked out for some reason. so it finished and i called a friends. and laughed for 15 minutes straight until i came off the high. after than my stomach felt like i jsut went on a rollercoaster.

Who are these people who have made this product? Sounds used to alter your brainwaves? Is this a drug? Does it have side-effects? Can I take an overdose? Is there any possibility to get addicted? How does that stuff even work? Does anyone actually know ANYTHING about this?

I took the happy one because I'm on my dad's laptop and I don't think he'd approve of me doing music drugs, but I felt my tummy going all jittery and I had to smile. It could've just been placebo though. And I'm a very, very happy person anyway.

well
as i said, theoretically, it works, cause brainwaves are a proven fact (someone correct me if i'm wrong). Getting addicted is a possibility, but i doubt it'd be something easy to happen, since the effects seem to be kinda mild. It doesn't have the same CHEMICAL effects of a drug, it just makes you feel like the effects that you would go through. And there's always the possibility of just stopping it right in the middle, so i guess it's pretty safe, if you keep it safe.

I'm a pretty much straight edge person when it comes to drugs, i almost never drink, and i think that's a valid experiment. It's like hacking your brain as a virtual machine or something (and i think only the nerds will get what i mean  )

Well, I've tried a few of them... two of them set me off to sleep rather well (but then again I was tired anyway)... so then I decided to try their "trip" file even though they were warning it's very very strong blah blah. Not a damn thing happened.

So, yeah, I've come to the conclusion that they're great for falling asleep to but won't make you see/feel funny things, heh.

Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file missing or invalid

How can I make this work?

That happened me when I tried to transfer it from my dad's laptop to my computer. Try uninstalling it and downloading it again, the components from the program might not all have downloaded. I reckon try installing it to a folder on your desktop instead of Program Files, maybe?

Doesn't help. Anything else?
