There's nothing "square" about not liking tats. I've got 3, and I have 2 more I want to get, but that certainly doesn't mean everyone should have one.

As 'skrimpy says...it is the same as anything. I do think that it is better to design your own tattoo in some way or put as much of yourself into it as possible.
A tattoo is a piece of art. Many of us will have works of art around our home. The only difference here is that you take it with you everywhere you go.
I for one am looking forward to getting some of my drawings transcribed onto my skin. That will mean a lot to me. I dont intend on showing anybody though, I am keen for my art to stay personal, same as I dont show my drawings to everyone.
